    Totally forgot that the pink hats were part of the tutorial mission that the Avatar picks for both of them.

    I’m thinking after World Tour Bosch wears the hat out of reverence for the avatar character. Kinda like how Ryu wears the headband Ken gave him.

    It seems Bosch has always had some sort of face scar that he covers up with his hair. You can kinda see it in the game too, before his brainwashing and sacrifice.

    Not only does the pink hat guy have Bosch's scar on his face, but also his shoes and same-colored pants.
     The pink hat just seems to be a recolor of his traditional red white and blue cap. I would go as far as to say that Bosch is indeed alive after the events of the World Tour.

    Btw wonder if this

    wink at likely-alive-Bosch with super short red hair seen at the end of WTM jogging with group Buckler trainee in MC

    ps: of course wanting to find contrary argument we could say we seen concepts like shaven/short hair Luke or bald Manon, but this feel being treated differently. It's not a small element to show how the model it's supposed to work, they made it basically as relevant as the other one with the Bosch look we know already.
    Plus in this very thread we was discussing if reddit theory is right (i believe it) and that's Bosch he currently have very short red hair, and here we are😁

    Apologies if this has already been discussed before, I've been gone from here for a while so I don't want to really scour through 100+ pages to see if this was already mentioned lol.

    It's definitely Bosch and they're definitely teasing his survival/return;

    The person with the cap running with the other Buckler recruits has the same hair and scar across the eye that Nakayama recently posted for Bosch (which you posted in the reply I quoted). I'm not sure if Bosch had this scar before being blown up at the end of World Tour because you can kinda see something similar to it under his hair in the other artwork Nakayama posted;

    Also to add a bit more fuel to the fire, Luke's birthday artwork has someone wearing the same hat as the NPC/Bosch. It's coincidentally just obscured enough to not see who it is for sure, but it's pretty obvious it's Bosch (thanks @Lord_Vegafor pointing this out on Twitter, I never noticed this until I saw you point it out);

    At the risk of being completely wrong in the future, I'm calling it now; Bosch IS alive and will be playable in the future, maybe as soon as Season 2. There's way too many deliberate nods here to chalk it up as just asset reuse or some random NPC we're not meant to notice.

    If you read the comment post they intend to present the full concept art exclusively at some convention before they release them online.
     So he teases some glimpses to TwitteX to build hype around it

    I like the ed trailer cause it gave me a reason to talk about anything SF cause there sure is a lack of SF6 content going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    From left to right:
    - Previous game
    - ① Sliced-like scar
    - ② Like the previous game, less grotesque
    - ③ Claw scars (done by herself? Balrog?)
    - ③ *
    *same as the upper one, just with the eye closed.

    Reposting for ease of access. With respect, he is definitely a kidnapped boy - both Capcom US and Japan confirm him as such, albeit one who was experimented on:

    In Ed’s V debut blog, it’s noted he was “kidnapped at a young age” - https://news.capcomusa.com/lets/browse/the-young-commander-ed-joins-street-fighter-v
      And Ed’s Japanese blog post (by Producer Kansuke Sakurai) for his arrival in 6 also notes that “In the past, he was captured by SIN”

    The stage resembles the SIN stage from SF4 but I’m thinking it’s distinctly different. The S.I.N stage was to make Seth clones so I’m thinking this stage is the Shadaloo equivalent for Bison. All the test subjects in the tubes are candidate bodies for Bison that are being imbued with Psycho Power.

    Bison was resurrected in one of those test tubes in the beginning of SF4.

    I thought that was pretty interesting too and honestly I felt like they should implement more. I remember a rumor from SF6 story that mentioned that Ken had a limited moveset in his story mode due to his  experience in the story and that’s something I would have liked to see. Although due to the story structure of SF6 it wouldn’t have made much of a difference as you don’t play specifically as Ken.  I just thought that it was interesting to show how the story would affect the gameplay of a character and Tekken 8 did implement that respectfully.

    As of now, Tekken 8 has the best cinematic story mode in the genre. After Jin hit that pose and that theme started playing i knew this was the only modern fighting game that cared about its story.

    Yeah, I haven't watched the whole thing but Tekken 8 really did things awesomely as Darc said. No spoilers, but the fact that they had certain characters having story related affects on their movements was awesome. I remember back in the 90s when my sister and I played Soul Blade and in Edge Master mode there were certain matches with special conditions (player is poisoned, opponent can only be hurt in air, etc), I'd love to see more of that in story modes!

    The Tekken 8 story was absurd, campy, over the top, and had the protagonist use the "power of friendship" to achieve victory. That said, it was very well executed. Namco deserved credit for how they told the story. They focused mainly on one character. They wove  an actual tournament into it that didn't seem forced. Namco even managed to come up with solid, in universe reason, for the goofy Avengers style clash of "armies" shown in the trailer. Heck, they even snuck a Tekken Force mode in. As someone that is not a Tekken fan by any means I have to give two thumbs to Namco for T8. Heck the netcode, provide you set to prioritize the connection, held up well in my limited experience as well.

    Side note: The way the story was told should be a blueprint for how to handle a fighting game story with a big roster IMO.

    The final boss battle of Tekken 8's story mode made me think I stumbled into a JRPG. Besides being over the top as hell, it dragged out. Every time you think it's over Harada is like...

    I....I just don't get it. I love SF6, love WTM & online and the avatar stuff is a fine idea, it's just that they're leaning too far in one direction instead of something balanced. I'm really confused and hope season 2 irons out the wrinkles, cause this is disappointing. I WANT SF6 to reach for the stars, but I'm getting worried. 😕
