I just watched the first 2 episodes of X-Men '97! It's VERY good. The tone,dialogue, action scenes are all great. It respects the Claremont era comics while also doing new twists. I love that the episodes are longer. 28 minutes without end credits. Most of the voice acting is great, both old and new. After 20 years of being treated like unwanted garbage in the live action films, Cyclops and Storm shine brightly in these 2 episodes. Negatives Bishop's actor does a very different sort of performance that doesn't suit him. Morph's powers have him assuming the abilities of those he changes into. I will give an overall score after the season is done. I normally wait till a whole season is uploaded to a streaming service,but this show is so good that it is worth watching piecemeal. If you have any hesitation about watching,don't.

SVU is celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year. It's been on so long that it introduced "the next generation" of actors and now some of them have already left. I still can't believe Simpsons is still on after 35 years. I would have thought the cost to produce the show would have killed it by now.
