Underrated Transformers Toys of all time: G1 Hung-grrr (1987) -Save for the silver eyes, he has one of the most "accurate" to the animation model toys =Relatively well proportioned robot mode -He has head rotation, shoulder rotation, elbow flexion, hip flexion/abduction, "sideways" knees, -9 points of articulation. For reference, most G1 TF's had 2-4 points max. - The combined Abominus chest plate can act as a shield. -The 2 headed dragon mode is a beast mode that has been done in later lines, but this one is great and I believe the first one (along with teammate Sinnerwin)

In case anyone was interested.. The 2001 Cowboy Bebop movie will be playing in select theaters from tomorrow Jan. 21 (Sunday) to Jan. 23 in the USA. Sunday will have 1 English dub and 1 Sub showing each and Mon/Tues will be either or. (At my local theater at least) $13.50 I've never seen it before so I'm excited.

However, the Autobots are knocked out by an explosion and a mysterious ray gun hovers over them and transforms, revealing ... Shockwave strings up the Autobots like slabs of beef, takes over the Decepticons because logic dictates Megatron's ways led to their downfall, and makes Megatron his beyotch.

Yeah that was a movie specific thing. When I saw the first movie, I assumed the writers just gave the psychic protection trait of Juggernauts helmet to Magnus to not make Xavier overpowered (in addition to sidelining him in the climax of the first 3 movies or killing him) From the 70s-90s comics, Xavier has always been able to use his telepathy against Magnus when wearing the helmet . This carried through to X-Men TAS as well. Though ,most of the time in the Claremont era Xavier was rarely in direct battle with the X-Men against Magnus.

The 1997 Berserk anime series will be remastered and released by Discotek Media on March 26,2024! All 25 episodes in both Japanese and English. MSRP: $60 (Available on Amazon)
