Discotek announced that all of the City Hunter OVAs/movies released before the 2019 Shinjuku Private Eyes movie will be on a 2 disc Bluray collection set for release in "Winter 2023". These are not full remasters unfortunately, but upscales. This includes the 1999 Death of Ryo Saeba which was never released by ADV during their "tenure" in the late 90s/early 2000's. Oddly enough, the ADV English dubs from the other 5 films will be included in the set. (Discotek did their own dub for Shinjuku Private Eyes for the US release)

The voice director for 1987 TMNT was Susan Blu who was G1 Arcee. She did that show , 2003 TMNT. I guess it was a gag since she worked with Dan on TF and he was a former Spidey VA.

I've never seen any of the Japanese TF shows. I always thought Hasbro would put some of them on YouTube especially with the crowd funded Star Saber toy coming soon and a rumored new Metalhawk.

I've only seen 5 TF shows. My ranking 1) Beast Wars 2) G1 3) Animated 4) RID 2001 (Car Robots English version) 5 ) Netflix Siege/Earthrise/Kingdom To be honest, if G1 was more like the movie and season 3 I'd probably put it at 1. I'm one of the few who love the post movie era even with Akom's mediocre work. My favorite G1 stories are still the last 2 years of the Marvel US comic by Simon Furman though.

When TV shows of the 1980's/1990's were dying, it was a common practice to add an original black male character to the cast. Exhibit A: RC3 in Season 4 of Knight Rider (Peter Parros) (1985-1986) He was a Chicago native who was a vigilante of sorts. He also helped Bonnie rebuild KITT in the Season 4 premiere after he was destroyed by the Juggernaut vehicle. Exhibit B: Carter (1987 TMNT series) (Season 9-10 / 1995-1996) He would mutate into a yellow monstrous form randomly. The TMNT would also suffer from a similar condition.
