While 2023 was the 60th anniversary of the X-Men in general, 2024 is the 50th anniversary of Wolverine's first appearance. Even more remarkable is that for 24 years , he has been played by Hugh Jackman. Wearing the comic costume and appearing in the MCU is a great celebration.

TF Marvel US artist Jose Delbo passed away at 90. He drew the comic for 2.5 years and drew 25 issues making him the most prolific. He also had long run on Wonder Woman in the 1970's. He had some quirks such as: - always drawing Soundwave with a mouth. -drawing Starscream with only one "ear" due to a misinterpretation of his character model. -drawing some characters as very close to their toy form (Thunderwing with his obtrusive backpack) I think his best work was the cover to Issue 50. Today is a very special version of... Transformer's Greatest Moments: A lifelong dream for me on the 40th anniversary of the franchise! Freedom is the right of all sentient beings, as well as a picture with the man, the legend-Peter Cullen. I got a picture with him this afternoon in Orlando. It was very brief. I told him I've been watching him since I Was 2 years old. There was a panel with him and Frank Welker after the photo session. They answered a few questions and ended with a brief skit with all the classic lines (Peace through Tyranny. etc).
