My work had a vegetarian hot dog one day as a special and it was a grilled carrot. It was pretty hilarious, clearly the person running the cafeteria gives zero fucks about vegetarians.

I've been to Boston a few times and I think they are in some kind of weird contest with NYC on who can produce the biggest assholes.

Rutger Hauer would have been an awesome Magneto. He had that perfect balance of cunning charisma and malevolence to pull it off. To be honest, in the comics I always found Magneto to be the villian I most empathized with and understood. He always seemed to have good intentions but questionable methods and was a better villain that the typical TEEHEEE I LIKE EVIL comic antagonists of the time. Especially once he founded Genosha and wanted to be left alone, most of his extreme punishments against the humans were retaliatory.

I use reddit from time to time just because the absolute gold mine of content that is to be found there. ScottishPeopleTwitter and fatpeoplehate (RIP) were some of the most fun I had on the internet but I still really dislike the interface.

I was almost on a jury in a similar situation. A father put an abusive boyfriend in critical care because he beat up his pregnant daughter. Dad showed up and asked him what's good and he asked the dad "THE FUCK YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?" That's when he got all kinds of stabby. Stabbed the dude 21 times. He fucked around and found out. The only thing I wanted to charge him with was being an outstanding citizen.

People's opinion on Rittenhouse seems to be entirely linked to their political ideology and which news sources they follow. Be aware though, key "facts" that people keep repeating are narratives that are entirely based on political bias which is not at all how the justice system should work, but ask any lawyer will tell you the court of public opinion is VERY important to getting your defendant a fair trial. Personally I'm getting a little tired of it being OK for protestors to just destroy innocent people's livelihoods because they feel like throwing a political temper tantrum.

Covid has definitely "brought the crazy out" of a bunch of people, and I did see some people almost fight at Costco over the last package of toilet paper which was pretty hilarious. My wife works in retail pharmacy and someone threw a rotisserie chicken they were eating at her technician which is probably the most ghetto fabulous thing I can imagine because that fat hoe ate half of it before she threw it. Imagine taking down like half a chicken while you are waiting for your antibiotics for your Clamydia/Gonorreah infection to get filled.... 😆

I dislike Rob Zombie movies and I think he became a director so he could cast his no talent wife in movies.

I just saw Dune Part 1 and I was honestly really impressed with the actors and how closely they interpreted the general feel of the book. Granted I read the book in HS so various details were a little hazy but the visuals were really striking and IMO it was worth watching it in IMAX. My ears were definitely ringing after the movie was over, that Hans Zimmer soundtrack was NOT playing.

I want to cosign on hating reaction videos, but I at least understand unboxing videos because so often companies charge premium prices for collector items and usually send a subpar product.
