The most important aspect of her defense of Earth, her fighting ability, didn't even require her to be a General. Sonya did the type of thing that dudes rightfully get roasted for. Being a dad improved Johnny Cage's character by leaps and bounds. I honestly liked the fact that Sonya, not Johnny, ended up being the worse parent. Completely the opposite of how you'd think the situation would end up.
