No, it's because people don't like change. People dismiss stuff offhand immediately without giving a chance. Then , later on down the line, they give a fair evaluation. I've seen this happen over and over again in multiple forms of media from games, tv, movies, and books. Does it mean the new stuff is always good? No. It can certainly be bad, and when it is that evaluation sticks. There aren't people pretending like "they always thought it was good". That said, I'll take this over the usual discourse of people arguing over which remix of a track I've heard for decades is best.

Not really. The FTC didn't much of case and the case they had was contingent upon pretending Nintendo doesn't exist. They literally were attempting to say to having CoD was the key to being successful in industry when the Switch is the 3rd best selling platform of all time without it. Moreover the Wii U had COD and is second worst selling Nintendo platform ever, only surpassed in failure by the Virtual Boy. I'm not a lawyer and I could have crushed the FTC. Okay, lets take Nintendo out of it as they wanted. It just makes their opposition to deal even weaker. Without Nintendo, Sony's market share is overwhelming. Without Nintendo, that makes them the market leader for every generation since the PS1 launched. Not to mention all the anti competitive stuff Sony's pulled. Their opposition to the deal looks hypocritical based on their own deals. Especially when they first entered the market and they had the largest pocket book. MS's strategy of flexing their check book is exactly what Sony did starting with PS1. Sony opposing the sale has backfired on two fronts the first is they lost, and the second they've exposed a lot of their anticompetitive dealings publicly. The judge, clearly a laymen, was blowing holes in their case with basic questions. Which the FTC had no answers for. It was pathetic and the FTC should be ashamed of themselves. They didn't focus on the huge number of IPs MS would gain. They didn't key in on the mobile angle, which from what I can tell was biggest driver behind MS wanting Activision outside of Gamepass. The FTC looked like a public defender the read a cliff notes version of the situation 15 minutes before having to present their case. TLDR: The FTC was woefully incompetent and presented a terrible case full of more holes than Swiss Cheese.

It'll be a while. I'm surprised with how few complaints I've seen for SF6. The Street Fighter cycle hasn't happened as of yet.

Didn't Idom have a crap ton of air travel issues and got to the venue shortly before his match started? Could that have had some bearing on badly he got washed? It's Problem X so, I'm not saying he would have won the set, but it could have affected his play.

It's not a rumor. GamersNexus asked their Bios team about their next project and they confirmed that there is no next project. Basically the company seems to be winding down, the owner doesn't want to sell it. So there will be no EVGA in the near future. Side Note: I finally got a new laptop to replace my 6 and a half year old warhorse. It's something I've considered in the past but I just couldn't justify dropping damn near 3K on another laptop now that I have a desktop. That said, even though I don't typically care for Alienware. Dell is basically clearing out their m17 Ryzen E9 edition stock. I'm kicking myself because I got the 4K version and noticed Dell is selling the 1080p version for $1200 on their site. As for the specs. R9 6900HX RX 6850M XT 12GB (This was the most important for me. My 2014 and 2017 laptop had 8GB of VRAM) 32GB DDR5 4800 (I only wanted 16GB because I'm swapping to 5600 but limited stock means limited options) 4K 120hz Display Cherry MX Mechanical Keyboard 1TB NVME SSD PCIE Gen 4 I'm just testing it out. The only issue I have with it is something I knew when purchased it. There is no num pad on the keyboard. It's a slight annoyance but given the discount I got over full price it's minor. The webcam is meh (720p), but I never used my webcam on my old laptop and I never bought a webcam for my desktop so it's a none issue for me. I'd rather have a QHD display, because lets be real that I'd be gaming at...except for probably SF6 but it's nice to watch video content at 4K at least. I've already got the RAM and second 4TB NVME to install....just don't know if I can do it at present. I'm pretty ambidextrous so, I'll probably be able to pull it off. If not, I'll just wait. Edit: I had to disable the "hybrid graphics" in the BIOS. On paper the auto switching between the GPUs is a good thing. When you aren't gaming in runs on the iGPU to save on battery. Two problems though. I did random brief (less than second) freezes while watching Youtube that would cause an error report. The bigger issues is performance. SF6 at 1440p was not a solid 60fps. It would have occasional drops like 3 to 6fps. Given the different in GPU power between my old system I knew was the hybrid graphics. Laptops with a iGPU and discrete GPUs perform worse than they should. The system render stuff on the GPU but run it through the iGPU before it gets to your display. Disabling the iGPU resovled the issue. I mean a 6850M XT is basically a 175w desktop 6700XT. Side note: My old custom laptop had more USB ports. It had 4 USB A and two USB C's. This laptop has 3 USB A and one USB C. That, more the number pad is downside for me. 4 isn't terrible but I've gotten used having 6 ports for the last 6 years.

It doesn't matter who it is. Having your ass hanging out, turning around, and shaking for some dude is disrespectful. It being Usher makes it worse, because it just means more people are witness to it. If it was "Earl from accounting" less people would be aware of the situation. If he was publicly flirting with another woman, she'd find it disrespectful and she'd have every right to. As for the "think of your kids" angle, kids are ruthless, and being a public figure shines more light on your activity. You don't need to give them easy ammunition to bully your child.

People inviting other's into their relationships via social media is one the big reasons people can't stay together. That said, that dress was out of pocket for a woman that's is a mother an in a relationship. It didn't see what the big deal was at first, but then I saw the entire dress. Her whole ass is out. Like what happened to decorum. Shaking your damn near bare cheeks in front of some dude that's not your significant other is suppose to be okay now? People won't stop buying MK8. They were clearly ready to move on but people kept buying it, so they went back and added more DLC. I can't even blame them at this point. MK8 is the Top 10 like every month in North America and damn every week in Japan.
