unpopular opinion and in the minority i believe DmC is hella cringe i'm not even commenting in the gameplay which was subpar at best. The game did some many things wrong. i hope we all forget about this failure and move on

i don't see that happening for a few reasons this whole idea of combining west and east studios to make a game was Inafune's all along which left capcom already and not in a good note. this game wasn't only a bad DMC game but it was also pretty bad on the narrative itself, trying to be edgy and serious i think it was writtten by 13 year old. and third well entitled tameem threw more wood to the fire with his statements insulting the DMC fanbase and glorifying his flawed game.

i read somewhere i don't know if here or the internet if they would have made the game into a parody of DMC instead and following this kid DINO trying to be dante, aspiring to be like his hero. I think that would have been some fun narrative i could have gotten into.

the home console market in japan has been shrinking for a while and i think Sony is starting to give up on it. it's hard to focus on a failing market when in the west they're bigger than ever. Japan has always been on portables for the most part anyway.

i played the Castlevania collection yesterday. I played a little bit of Simon Quest first seemed all good until the screen tearing issues started to happen not much big of an issue but still... next was Belmont's revenge on the Gameboy. I have never played this game on the big screen i felt more comfortable going through the levels but i found this issue, being black and white i couldn't tell the traps from the background sometimes to be specific the spikes that are at the top of your head, i fell on the same spot like three times lol. I was also tired so there's that. i wish it had some way to alter the colors like the super gameboy so you could see better. I need tyo try the other games Castlevania III which i never played and also kid dracula.

don't really care about the digital edition I wouldn't even buy it at a discount if available. to each his own I guess but i myself see no value on the digital edition as of now. I don't like to pay for digital games full price so if i had to do that I often wait until the price goes down just like i do with steam sales + you're missing all the features DR pointed out above.

Sony is dropping the ball with these kind of games which they always supported in the past. I remember Nintendo was the only console manufacturer that didn't get any of these games which let me to believe they were trying to apply the same level of censorship that now Sony is doing or maybe it was because of the kid image Nintendo has been associate with .
