Story got really good when Sylens shows up. Love that they modeled the character after Lance Reddick. Really gonna miss Lance if/when a third game releases. I always used stealth as much as possible for the raider outposts, so I actually enjoyed the human combat. It wasn't groundbreaking, but it was fun.

I played through HZD again before Forbidden West, and I think I actually enjoyed it more the second time. Mostly because it was 60 FPS on PS5, but I'm glad to have gone through the story again too. They're both fun games.

I wouldn't say Ripley was weak and useless at the beginning of Aliens.

To be fair, I've seen the opposite happen as well- where the game character looks way better than the model. For example, I thought MJ was ugly as fuck in Spider-Man 2. But then I saw the actual person she was modeled after.
