There are some combos that go into Drive Impact, JP has one in his trials, however they obviously don't cause a crumple (that only happens if you punish someone with it, the most common way to do that is to armour through one of their moves and hit their recovery) and I also think there's a protection against wall-splatting in that situation, because the game considers that you can only get wall-splat if you could have done something to counter the Drive Impact, but if you couldn't then you're just not going to interact with the wall in any way.

My only potential disagreements with this list are that I still feel like Juri is, for the most part, a better version of Cammy in this game, and Dhalsim may only look weak currently and actually be hiding tech like always. Manon and JP in A tier seems just right. People whined about them day 1, and still do with JP because he actually won stuff, but the way I see it both of those characters lack the versatility of Luke, Juri, DeeJay, Ken and probably Cammy as well, and also how well they mesh with the Drive System, so they're good and all but I'd reserve the top tierdom for other characters.

When you're dealing with people cucked enough to pay for social media you might as well take full advantage of it. Honestly, my only concern is actually for the artists. They're the only reason I use the damn thing and Twitter is a good place to find a lot of them and potentially get in contact for commissions. There are alternatives out there but they're not quite the same, and I think a lot of artists need Twitter as their main place for exposure, even if it's otherwise a shithole.

So, I know many of you are not Twatter fans, but in that case you will be happy to know that Elon Musk recently announced that from now on, unless you pay the guy for using one of the shittiest social media there is, you will only be allowed to see 600 posts, or 300 if you're a new user, before the site shutting down and not displaying anything again for 24 hours. Paid users will be allowed to see up to 6000 posts before the same thing happens to them anyway. Sounds like satire, but it's true.

Funny how, for like the third time in a row, the moment I get a rank up I first go on a period of losing streak where I go back forth losing and regaining my rank, and then I go on a sudden winstreak. This time I got a 12 winstreak, I think it's the biggest so far in this game. In V the best I got was 13 with Falke some time after she got released.

I've fully finished up World Tour. I usually hate single player gameplay in fighting games because fighting the AIs is usually either mind-numbing or infuriating, but fortunately World Tour was different enough for me to enjoy it. My impressions: JP is an awesome villain, and I really like how they managed to make a new villain that's deliberately not actually all that strong but makes it up with deviousness and cunning, instead of yet another world-ending threat. I need that destroyed Nayshall arena in the regular game. All the interactions with the main characters and the cameos were great. That one link Juri tries to send you through messages was either weird porn, a scam, or a liveleak video of beheaded people. Maybe all three. I just know it.

Vesper made a video on it. As a Manon player I see this as a universal buff, 'cause all I'm seeing there is their ass blocking low on the ground and I have two overheads that go into combos and a command grab that reaches from the Moon. 😎
