You know the more I think about it, the more it's a situation that begs more questions to be asked. Ok so Shaggy is now black? ok? BUT OG shaggy is: a slacker/stoner/loser? (arguable) and eats a lot, chills with a dog and is somewhat paranoid which if placed on a black man in the wrong way in today's climate, these traits can be seen as offensive/stereotypical aka to some as racist. So instead of calling this ver shaggy, we name him by the real name Norville. In an odd way unless you actually knew his real name, one could argue they just made an OG character which is fine...but then I would ask, why didn't they just do this from the start with everyone? why not make a show that was just OG? adult parodies of classic shows have been done for decades. yes Scooby Doo wasn't a PURE children's show in the 70's but the point remains that an OG show in the direct spirit of Scooby Doo would allow for far more creative freedom. Adult Swim did this to great success with The Venture bros. I'm not even a Scooby doo fan so yes why am I bothering to speak up? because it's more of the continued notion of using exiting properties to sell something vs making something original. I suppose this then goes into a bigger rant about something I have wanted to discuss. I admit I struggle to filter what should deserve a shot at being rebooted/given a new version vs what shows should stay in the past due to being a relic of their era. Some IPs have allowed themselves to be remade when needed (Scooby Doo/TMNT/Transformers )and some prefer to maintain a singular canon (Star Wars?)

No one gets to billionaire tier and stays there just resting on your laurels. It really does take a certain type to do that and it's not for everyone nor should it ever be. I can't assume he's got a mental issue as I don't know what is going on in his brain...but I wonder if he'll regret it down the line.

Some people never want to stop working... But the bad part is as you rise up to the top the work doesn't lessen. It grows more. You sacrifice more to make it at the cost of your loved ones at times. I want to prosper more but I'm not looking to be CEO of the company. Just get to a nice balance between. It hard but doable.

FOOTBALL FRIDAY?: I don't care about Football but from what I learned skimming through this is Tom has a passion for the craft BUUUUUT, since he's made his accomplishments, has a family and is highly wealthy/successful, why is he still wanting to play? heck if I know but the moment he had a family, as any good father/husband should be, you're there for them now. Does he feel like the game gives him purpose in life? if so, he's got his priorities mixed up. I WISH I could be told "you've made your money, you don't have to do this risky work anymore.
