  1. Very difficult situation now because "ma combos" will be the call from most people although when they say that I generally think they are talking about the daft 6 meter juggles. I'd just beef up the hurt box on the DR rush personally. No worse feeling than reacting to it, just to see your normal whiff and they do a 5000 damage super link because you got punish countered. I didn't like the dashes in SF5 (did anyone) which makes it all the more baffling that people are in love with SF6 but gave us all the SF5 gimmicks on steroids.
  2. Yeah the entire mid range is basically low xx drive rush rinse repeat with the occasional raw drive rush. It gets tedious after a while, but I mean I'm doing the same thing with Cammy. Maybe they shoulda gave the SF5 stubby normals to these characters!
  3. Perfect parry/parry is in a good spot, if anything parry is slightly OP ( has zero requirements for anything - low/high/bad timing accepted/less push/dont have to parry multi hits - best parry in any game IMO). I don't think any one has mentioned it, but you could make it so you could not throw ( but could still command grab) from a PP punish. This would get rid of the dreaded side switch. Drive rush though....I think they need bigger hurt boxes or a bigger punish window. The amount of times you die by trying to react to DR but get hit is insane, the game almost presents to you a situation where taking plus frames deliberately ( even though you think you can stop it) is better and that's not a good design. People say "punish counter" on hit, but after thinking more about it, that wont stop anyone doing drive rush. They will just do it again.
  4. Easy one, crush counter is preemptive , Punish counter is reactive. This is arguably the single best change in the entire game and hopefully season 2 fleshes it out more.
  5. This wouldn't be as hard as you think since you're getting put in Diamond right off the bat and most people you play are just in pure autopilot. I'm on my 4th and honestly I hardly even play it that much. I think they should change the way the battle lounge works because ranked....it's the just the same people ( maybe if you're lucky you've got a pool of more than 30....) . Wait times are way longer than they should be. Battlelounge you have all these hundreds of people gathered up in one place yet it's still all over the shop. Feels wasted. They should have a Masters lounge, Diamond lounge , Platinum lounge , ( anyone can play in any lounge, it's just a tagging system). That way I don't have to keep bodying new players trying to find a match or just people one and done because they feel outmatched. Maybe a Diamond wants to practice vs better players etc What about Character specific lounges ? There's so many great ideas , but I'm still finding it's me that's got to do the work ( ask on discord etc) . They nearly got it right , but it's not there yet.
  6. Her walk speed is crazy though. I feel like I'm actually playing a fighting game again with her and not just doing *Dragon lash or * condorspire 😅
  7. You don't really need it though , but having it there is pretty good and ex dk is very strong imo. Her mobility and buttons are insane. If you have good funds, you can basically start knocking off decent players immediately with her.
  8. A low that goes further than it looks, is a big combo on hit or plus on block ......it's crazy. If you pick a character like Luke you can basically make an entire strategy around this one scenario I'm on to Cammy now ( got Ken to master, but I'm not actually playing a fighting game with him, he plays himself) , but she's seriously strong.
  9. Hello my dudes, how are you enjoying SF6 so far. Why is blocking bad, why is Ken, why does Honda have better corner carry than Fei Long!!! This game 🫠😘
  10. Not only this , she's meter heavy - needs EX windstock for true command grab mix. Meter heavy means you can't use Drive Reversal which is her only real option. Still...I think she's a character that you can Vegas your way to wins. Might get destroyed.... Might pick right three times and your dead.... GG I can see her becoming a solid pocket. Easy to play, nothing to learn.
  11. I'd almost guarantee he will have one, but it'll be blanka speed, like 7 frame start up etc.
  12. It's highly unlikely a rashid will make it anywhere near top 8s anyway, just the usual twitter hype. Will probably destroy the odd top player in pools, but that'll be it. Plus all the Pros that played the crack ( which lets face it, is probably all of them) have such a massive head start. The only way I see a Rashid making a dent is if he plays similar to his SF5 version and a Rashid main gels with him.
  13. You can combo it , but there's always a gap between the Normal and the DI on block. If you do happen to stumble upon a set up that leaves no gap the game will display "lock" on the message and the opponent will not wall splat. You are "locked" from doing that. You can always super in other words.
  14. Run lash bounces , you must be doing it wrong. Look up Angry Bird, Big bird final, does it heaps.
  15. Nah it's not the Hurricane, it's the EX Dragon lash. Dp + KK They have to be air born though, so target combo EX Dragon lash is what you want. You don't need the EX if you put Run Dragon lash between the target. Another gorilla thing ken has, just putting run before a special gives you a better version with more damage .
