No worries! I’m terrible at this game. The computer is smoking my ass. I can’t seem to get a hang of it - things like not being able to hold forward during forward jumps (which prevents double jumps and jump cancels) are really screwing me up.

Still labbing and not ready for matches, but I am curious who is going to play this somewhat regularly? I wouldn’t mind setting up weekly lounges or some thing like some of us do for Samsho. I have it on PS4 and PC fwiw. hopefully in two weeks or so I should be somewhat ready.

This is my reaction if NRS has anything to do with it. I love MK games, and I want NRS to make another one soon, but I would also not want a Marvel game that plays and looks like an NRS game.

It’s the PC version but was basically a port of the PS1 version - you can play as Kintaro, Shao Kahn, Motaro, Rain, etc. I ended up buying it and a few things to note: - you can setup a controller, but on my Hitbox, my R2 and L2 buttons didn’t register as inputs, which made me have to put Run on L1 (which wasn’t ideal on my 8 button stick, but whatever) - you can’t change your screen resolution, you basically just have like three video options: original window size (which is maybe 180p or even less tbh), screen size X2 (doubt whatever the original is), and full screen (which was a full 4:3 ratio screen on my 1600p 16:10 laptop monitor and looked okay, but definitely not HD or anything). I also totally forgot they got another actor to replace Daniel Pesina as Johnny Cage in MK Trilogy lol. I keep forgetting how clunky the old games were, but I still had fun though. I’ve been wanting to replay this for a long time.

Apparently this is pretty new on the GOG store. edit: should add this isn’t any special port or anything. It seems like basically just the old PC version that can run on modern versions of Windows. It’s not HD or anything either, but still, that was a super fun (and busted) game.

I’m pretty sure I have this on PS4/5. I randomly saw it the other day and was shocked as I don’t remember buying or playing it lol

Yeah, I really like these lobbies we do. I have lots of fun everytime. We say a lot but we should actually do this more often i do need to lab a bit more though and I should probably try out another character for once lol

Baiken is #1? Damn, I was already on the fence about buying her (well the season pass she was included in), but that may have just sealed the deal lol. I wanted to support the game anyway for the rollback announcement, so I guess that’s my way. Anyone up for playing later tonight, or does tomorrow night work better? I’m good either way. EDIT: I just realized something pretty important before agreeing to play with me. I’m currently on WiFi. I should be get back to a wired connection tomorrow, but tonight would be WiFi for me.
