As far as musou games go, it looks pretty cool. But musou games are not something that I can ever bring myself to pay full price for. Just not my bag. There's enough out that that tickles my pickle more than AoC that I'd like to play before dropping $60 on this

The best thing they could do is make that first screen roughly 4 minutes shorter. That load alone makes me not want to play SFV. But the game gets too much shit. It's actually pretty fun. If it punished players more for jumping and had better netcode I'd be playing a good bit

Yeah, he also sorta talks like he just got hit in the head really hard. I know that's harsh, but the man sounds concussed to me. I think he went through the trouble of getting the thumbs up so he can use any music track he wanted without getting DMCA'd but I don't really know.

I tried with SamSho but I was brand new to fighting games, so it went pretty bad. I was still playing stick when I was playing samsho, and I've been on hitbox well over a year now. Thought about doing this with Granblue, but then the netcode and pandemic happened, so I couldn't play it locally. I'd still pick it up if it was like $20, but that game never seems to go on sale. Played a few sets the week it came out, Ladiva was pretty damn cool.

I really hope they put Slayer in there. He's one of my favorite characters to watch be played. I'm not going to do the lore deep dive to see if they made room for him to come back or not, but I'm hoping he didn't like explode or get turned into a pair of underwear or some shit in REV2

Yeah, this seems right to me. Air benders would need an air dash. UNI has air dashes tho... But I think a "anime, but not too anime" system would be perfect. Honestly, Xrd without dust and a tag instead would be pretty awesome

Almost got him a wonder boy game, but shipping wasn't free and it was shipping from Europe and that's no good. Dragonquest Builders was another choice, but it has the same issues as Wonderboy

he has dyslexia and ADHD, so he’s a little “special” I guess. so the kid can’t read and has too much energy to really have to focus on anything for more than a few minutes. I really like playing games with him tho, he’s really funny and will let me whoop that ass in street fighter. Honestly a great kid, but he doesn’t have the mind or focus for most games. I’ll take a look at a hat in time. A beat em up might be good for him too...

Y’all are giving the kids too much credit. Love him to death, but he just likes smashing buttons. His favorite game is Mario + Rabbids. Not because of the game, mind you, because he thinks Rabbids are really funny. I watched him play pokemon once and it almost gave me an aneurism. He wasn’t even doing the little kid strat of making your starter OP. He also didn’t understand how to use potions or that he could buy poke balls. he loves fortnite for the memes. I’m just looking for a game a kid would like. I was thinking age of calamity, but I’m worried his mom wouldn’t like the teen rating.
