  1. 6 has the benefit of riding the positive feedback on last season of V, CPT 2022 ended fairly well, and it's also not a platform exclusive this time, plus the game is coming out with good netcode, with crossplay, on two different console generations, AND it's further fixing all the flaws V had from battle system to features. Provided Capcom don't somehow royally screw it up with egregious post launch monetization or shit balancing, I'm fully expecting 6 to climb into Capcom hall of fame in terms of units sold and at least 1 million copies by EVO if not sooner

  3. God I hope Capcom adds some kind of a limited mode where we can use the world tour avatars for online pvp. I don't care how broken, silly, stupid or cursed that would be - let people have fun. At some point beating random NPCs will get boring
  4. Where have you been? Shader compilation on startup has been an issue with major releases for at least a year now with various titles, though mostly UE based ones. Thought RE avoids the subject altogether

  6. BTW I love the smooth transition of the music from stage select screen to character select. I listened to both yesterday and damn the instrumental is REALLY good just wish there was a lyrics toggle Oh and I love how the fighting ground graffiti moves on tact with the menu theme, nice touch Starting to get in tune with the Cpu fights, but I find level 7 too easy (it kinda makes "mistakes", such as not finishing a combo proper or not converting pokes etc) and then the jump to level 8 is like an experienced tourney goes. Capcom prolly should adjust that Still don't quite understand the instant round start drive rush the Cpu sometimes does, I might have to watch it more closely but it doesn't do the cancel out of a normal and it doesn't enter the party stance fully either

Does anyone else find it weird and amusing how SF6 has pretty good music in the Battle Hub lobby, main menu, character creator, the World Tour map, and the "Tutorial" (even though that's just the Genbu Temple stage) but all the character themes except Ryu and Jamie are just trash? You'd think it would be at least the other way around as worst case scenario, or both are equally good as in V, but no

  13. World tour map is gonna be hilarious, in juat the demo there's already a ton of different callbacks, references easter eggs and various puns. I hope they'll also add more zones with expansions in the future beyond what is offered in base game. There's pretty much potential to cover every single street fighter locale known to date

Yo the level 8 Cpu doesn't fuck around, bravo Capcom, feels like I'm fighting a tournament pro with all the tricks, combos and system mechanics the opponent uses Also thanks to this I already know I'm gonna absolutely despise drive impact and always get tapped by round start full screen drive rush
  15. There's absolutely no way Capcom will keep supporting PS4 until 2030, no developer or publisher will. I'm expecting a Super Street Fighter 6 release a couple of years down the line that is Next gen only and improves visuals plus packs all the content post launch into a starter package The world tour is apparently having massive framerate issues, but what I immediately noticed is either usage of dynamic resolution or a lack of anti-aliasing in this version, you can almost see the jaggies around Luke and Ryu in the tutorial plus the characters are kind of blurry. Not to mention the default sakura park stage looks like shit in general

So today was the first time I've ever actually seen KOF15 and SF6 in person, both games on PS4 Dude KOF actually looks amazing, I was already rather happy with the general art direction but this is really good. Also I love that in the jukebox SNK bothered to mdoel the visualizer/equaliser in the background for *every single song from KOF 94 to 15* 6 though... Oh boy it's kinda rough on PS4 ngl. Personally I just wish Capcom cut last gen altogether and focused exclusively on pushing graphical fidelity on ps5 and xb1.

Oh yeah speaking of demos, KOF XV now has one with pretty much unlimited training and local versus mode and access to 15 characters, plus an open crossplay beta at the end of the month with entire roster playable for 3 days including DLC Fucking finally the fighting game developers are embracing shit they should've been doing a decade ago
  20. I remember Akuma tuning to gray hair in that MK vs SF 3 animation when he went Shin Akuma lvl2, that was pretty tight
