I've been playing BDO since late-December. The game is gorgeous, even with my old hardware (i5-6500 & RTX480) I was running it well above 60+FPS! The Character Creator is really is the best on the block, though it excels at Waifu-Creation!!! 😉 But you "will" by doing some grinding and/or buying stuff, plus you will need to have decent internet!! I lucked up and got in right when the new season started, so I got a lot of free stuff and still getting some due in part to the account transfer promotion!! However, the winter season ends later this month, so if you want to try the game out and get plenty of in game stuff to help to reduce the grind, do so now. I also advice watching this dudes' channel: He has the best updated guides for new players to the game!!

Reasons why Mario Maker 2 is #1, tried to make my own levels and Super World and it's the main game, aside from NES Online my 4 year old nephew plays, when I let him play my Switch, whenever he comes up!! BoTW gets the #2 spot, as I did my first ever Master Mode run this year. As for Astral Chain, I need to go back finish it someday! Oh it is, I heavily recommend it for BoTW. It's my first Musso game or whatever its dubbed. To me its Marvel Ultimate Alliance x BoTW x Streets of Rage!!

Man, I'm wander if I should come back to this. I finished my Nomad run and got pretty much the best ending of the game with Panam But with the glitches and my RX 480 bottlenecking the hell out of Ryzen 7 3700X, I may as well wait for the major patch.
