Fast Food Restaurants like McDonalds have low gross margins. There isn't a lot of margin in their sell prices for their food items. If you want to make money on franchise, you go with a pizza franchise. There is a high gross margin on pizza. Granted I haven't worked for either places in decades, but if a burger cost say $2.00 the profit would be $0.25. If a Pizza was $10.00 the profit would be $8.00. The drinks are probably the only thing on their menu with a big mark up.

I must say, I really like the performance of Shang Tsung's voice actor. You can hear his scheming, sketchy nature in each syllable that he speaks. It's really impressive.

@DracuI'm sort of surprised they brought back Havik without Hotaru. They sort of go hand and hand IMO or at least they did in the original timeline. Plus, Hotaru has one of the better 3D era designs. He's basically a lava wielding samurai IIRC.

BoTW tech demo was built to show off the loading time or lack there off. System is rumored to have 512GB of internal storage. Given how dirt cheap SSDs are these days, that sounds entirely feasible. You can get one at retail for $25. At bulk cost those things would under $10 easy. Looking at the latest rumors, I don't see how people are getting surprised by what's been said honestly. DLSS is far superior upscaling technology to FSR. The Matrix tech demo can have lower native resolution and be upscaled to higher one with less of a hit to image quality. I mean look at what the Steam Deck is capable of. It doesn't have DLSS nor titles specifically coded for it. Moreover it's running games via emulation layer. Even if the Switch 2 had Steam Deck level specs the games running on it would look and perform far better. The games would specifically coded for the hardware. The games wouldn't take a performance hit from running Windows on Linux via an emulation layer. Ray Tracing has a significantly lower performance hit on Nvidia hardware in comparison to AMD. I figure performance will be somewhere between a Steam Deck and Xbox Series S with superior image quality. Is that PS5 and Series X level? No. Is damn good for a hybrid device? Yes.

My co-worker is a Jets fan. He's older than I am and has never seen his team win a Super Bowl. I don't care for Rodgers but I feel for Jets fans. The only luck they seem to have is bad luck.

Kick is a Twitch competitor. They made news earlier this year because the poached a couple of big name Twitch streamers with big sign on bonuses and is known for the far more favorable revenue split. Kick is 95/5, Youtube is 70/30, and Twitch is 50/50. How sustainable their split is the question. That said, if you are a big streamer taking a bag from Kick getting 95% of your revenue until it comes crashing down seems like a smart move to me.

Honestly, I blame comic books for this shit. It used to annoy as kid when I'd get excited by getting "#1" issue of comic only to find out it's like 15th #1 issue because they keep resetting to #1. It's usually white guys, so she's a racist and misandrist. It was matter a time. She was basically playing Russian Roulette. She finally fucked around and found out that it was bad idea. I wouldn't be surprised if this is some sort of grift. People there didn't help her, and have said that everyone in town knows she's trouble maker and is always causing issues. Paraphrasing what a couple dudes there said. "Why am I going to risk my life for someone that's always instigating drama." It's why no one stepped in to help her apparently. Who knows, maybe the dude that hit her is in on the scam.

Some dude got a early copy and played through the entire story mode on his Twitch stream. He also posted a downloadable file of the VOD. So that shit has spread like while fire, so everybody and their mama on social media basically knows everything about the story. I've been trying to find footage how just how bad the Switch version looks and that's been very hard. Story details are just out in the ether at this point.
