If I don't feel comfortable referring to someone by a term, I consider it a slur. Every Latino, I know finds it deeply offensive. As everyone one of them has told me you can't even pronounce it in Spanish. They find it insulting and view it as Americans trying to insert some nonsense into their language and culture. It's something @Hecatomhas mentioned for some time now. I don't know if I should type that shit out anymore. This isn't a delayed response either, the push back has been immediate. @HawkingbirdI dont think I'm getting the extra Starfield code. I ordered my CPU on 9/26 but it didn't ship until 10/3. Promotion expired 9/30. I got it today but I haven't gotten a redemption code from Amazon. I thought they'd go by order date. Wish I could just give you my copy that came with GPU. I haven't even played it an hour. Wish Steam would let you gift games you've played less than 2 hours too. Side note: I got home from work and have spent the entire evening installing my motherboard, cpu, and working out all the kinks. Should have did this weekend but I was impatient. Hopefully this BIOS update lets me run my DDR5 6000 instead 4800 or I'm going to be salty. I checked the what RAM speed and the specific brand RAM ahead of time. Everything should work.....PCs....the gift and the curse of upgradibility. Edit: Everything is up and running fine. DDR5 6000 is running at that. I'm set for a while now. 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000, and 7900XTX. Only complaint I have is my 6900XT was whisper quiet and my 7900XT is audible. It's bad or anything. It's noticeable. When I'm not wearing my headphones or when I don't have my desk fan on.

There is no competition for best girl. It's Karlach, anyone else is a distant second. (Sorry Shadowheart and La'zel). There is a reason I have yet get Minthara. You have to give up three squadmates for her. They really should have balanced that out better. Let you gain at least one additional party member down the line for what you lose. Karlach's VA some how manages to convey wholesomeness and badassery at the same time. It's an odd but endearing quality. I'm really in awe of the overall quality of voice acting in BG3. Everyone does such a good job. Conversations are so much better than Static Field. Bethesda REALLY needs to update their conversation system. It's like two decades out of date. It's bad enough it gets stomped in that regard by games like BG3 and CP2077. What's worse is that, you can go back to Mass Effect 1 or Jade Empire and they both do a better job. Those games are from 2007 and 2005. Edit: Characters in Star Field are stiffer than Jay-Z in the "I'll be" Foxy Brown video in conversations.

Ahsoka had all the ingredients of a great Star Wars show. Unfortunately, it was cooked by a chef Gordon Ramsay kicked out of Hell's Kitchen. If you would have told after Mando season 2 that we'd get a live action Star Wars show that featured Ahsoka, Thrawn, Night Sisters, two interesting Dark Jedi, and it would be meh. I would have thought you were crazy. This show was pockets of awesomeness surrounded by utter mediocrity. It unfortunately ended up where I thought it'd be after the first three episodes. I thought they wasted a lot of run time that would be needed near the seasons conclusion. And that's exactly what happened. Instead having more time to flesh out the events of Peridea, the took entirely too long on the setup. They squandered too much time on the appetizer and didn't spend enough on the main course.

While I enjoyed it overall, I'm not as familiar with the back story. The Turbo CD was one of the few platforms I didn't have access to growing up and when I found out Dracula X wasn't really a port of Rondo of Blood, I lost interest. The source material comes from the era of video game that didn't have the extensive story telling of modern games. So that leaves a creator plenty of room to adapt the story with some creative license. They can fill in the the missing details with their own spin while leaving the hard points of the story alone. I can see @Camacho's point. If I were knowledgeable on the lore of this era of Castlevania, I doubt I'd have the same view of Nocturne.

Fields finally had a good game this year and they still lost. If you would have told me Fields would have had 335yds passing 4TDs and 1 INT, I would have thought Bears rolled the Broncos. I guess the Bears are the ones with the bum leg 👀
