I like to use ranked as a quick match and trying to get matches going in Stride's tower was a slog. I did more waiting than playing. I also hate how a set can be interrupted by ranking up or ranking down. Can I finish this 2 out of 3 before I get kicked from heaven?

I have an issue with that. Everything that has a minority lead or a minority character would be in of itself woke and that is silly. There needs to be more than trappings to have a real argument. I honestly don't think Jade and Billie fall under female characters people hate. They are flawed, fuck up all the time and generally get better as the series goes. Their real problem is how utterly unlikable they are. Claire in Welcome to Raccoon City fits the mold better than they do.

I've seen the Netflix Resident Evil described as woke just for having a black Wesker, black and Asian female leads. How come most of the late weapons suck in Elden Ring? I'm trying out some of the weapons from remembrances I got from bosses and some others and these things are booty. Nothing that can match the Blasphemous Blade. The scared relic blade seems to be pretty good for farming.

Ranger as an invincible reversal. You got a get off me move that will work without fail. My counter doesn't work on frame 1 and gets beat by lows. I have to try to roll out of pressure when my gauge is too low but it's not a good enough option when I do get it to work.

I'll say that's necessary for MMOs and other types of online RPGs where endgame content is the meat of the game. I don't think that's necessary for games that are largely competitive as the content will be driven by the players.
