The PC just needs to play what you need it to. A person can easily find that PC or laptop by going to their local best buy or micro center (if you have one). This is not hard.

I brought a stand mixer myself during Prime day. I practically ended up getting it for free after both the original shipment and the replacement got lost in transit (I would eventually get the original order). I tested it out making a cheesecake and turn out well. I will try it with pizza next time.

While I was browsing through some keyboards I found this The Dreamcast keyboard looks awesome. It's upsetting that it's keycap set isn't sold separately. It would buy it. I like the Sonic and Shadow design better for the mouse mat.

I'm not one pointing the finger at the wrong party. It's goofy to me that you want to shit on people for wanting to play the best available version.

How is it the fault of PC players that the console versions of the games are not optimized to the same level? That's on the developers of those games. TBH, All Sony did was land SF5 as a console exclusive. That sealed the PS4 as the fighting game console of choice. KI would be the only reason anyone would see an Xbox in a tournament. I don't expect PC to become a standard for locals or even most majors. I can see invitationals and the publisher hosted events doing it. They would have the sponsors and capital to make that happen.

Other esport communities is usually partnered with one or more of the major computer companies (Intel, AMD, Nvidia, MSI, Corsair, Asus, etc) who provide the PCs. They often do so to use the games to promote their parts and peripherals.

Fighting games is low demand on PC. If you check the recommended specs of the most recent games most of them have 3rd or 4th gen intels and graphics cards dating back to GTX 6 series. A toaster can run most of these games.

I would like for SNK to port KoF XI, the goat KoF. It never got anything beyond it's PS2 port. I'll love to have it on Steam. SNK should consider releasing a collection of the hyper Neo Geo games.
