Matchmaking in DNF has gotten fucked up for me. I'm at Terranite IV and getting close to deity rank. For some reason I keep getting matched with terranite I or Diamond IV. I will get the occasional deity or legend but mostly I get guys several tiers below.

I've seen the video (I'm subscribed to his channel). I agree with the points he made in the video. When I think of the best video game adaptions most of them utilized the points he brings up that favors the Sonic movies. I do think that the movie relaying too heavily on the audience being familiar with the characters from the games hurt Uncharted and Assassin's Creed since they used that to not develop relationships between characters and provide lesser versions of set pieces we got from the games.

I recently finished playing through Midnight Castle Succubus and Castle in the Clouds. Both are 8-bit games heavily inspired by Simon's Quest rather than SotN or classic Castlevania. It makes for a refreshing change. Midnight Castle being the older game is more blatant in it's influence than Cloud. Though Cloud refines the formula considerably by making the areas dedicated levels with it's own mini map. Kinda like how Order of Ecclesia handled it's locales. Cloud has an exp system unlike Midnight Castle and it's very generous. I was over level 200 by the time I reached the final dungeon and OP as hell. Unlike Simon's Quest the NPCs in both games will just tell you what you need instead of being cryptic which I appreciate. I enjoyed both of these games and managed to get the best ending in both with 7 hours of playtime. My biggest complaint with both of these games is how easy they are. Even in the hard difficulty these games don't offer a challenge. I think these being h-games is the reason why it's so damn easy. Dying is how you get the H-scenes in Midnight Castle and purposely dying is the only way you'll get to see them. In Midnight Castle you can find other characters and recruit them to your party and roll as a crew to steamroll enemies and bosses. Using subweapons requires money but the game will shower you with currency so you can spam it and never be short on cash to use them and buy the skill and upgrades you need. In Cloud a failure state isn't necessary as it's built right in. Getting hit by enemies covered in hearts gets you an h-scene and it acts as a screen nuke damaging all the enemies on screen when its over. H-scenes is the primary motivator to complete the game's side quests. With both games there is a SFW mode available so people can play them without the sexual context. I recommend both games to Castlevania fans, particularly those who actually liked Simon's Quest.

The episodes I watched of Totally Spies all three of the girls were into fashion and they relished donning disguises as they used it as a fashion flex.
