Interesting... I wasn't aware they had to pay the "paused" rent back but that makes sense. Nothing really changed with my situation during the pandemic, other than working at home instead of the office. A year without rent---man, that would have made a hell of a difference; when I started at my job, that first apartment was about 775. Over the course of a year that would've been 9,300 saved if I could've gone 1 year without having to pay rent. Fragrance stuff--- so I bought a lighter today (I don't usually have those since I'm not a smoker) and finally got 1 of the caramel beignet candles going. The smell in here right now is outstanding. I already bought a 2nd one; I'll have to get more the next time I'm in that Target.... I should get the bigger version next time; I saw 1 for 12 bucks; I have two smaller ones for 6 a piece.

So I noticed it again on another radio station today... one that plays older classics had the GnR legend "Sweet Child of Mine", so this ruined the vibe so much it hurt my soul... I noticed at least 3 edits in the song. What the hell, man? That instantly makes me want to never return to a station that does that. I already permanently gave up from 1 for doing that to the "Running Up that Hill" song about a month ago.... but Sweet Child of Mine is one of my favorites of all time. There was a cut right at the beginning... then it got even worse---they had the audacity to cut part of the unforgettable Slash solo part!!! It's irritating just thinking about this shit. Who's the dumb piece of shit that comes up with this concept? Someone should punch that chump as hard as possible in the face a few times. No one wants to hear "abbreviated", butchered versions of songs....especially beloved, legendary ones like that. Every time I happen to hear that song it's an instant good mood... and then they piss all over the moment with that nonsense. I'm sure that greed is at the core of why they do this....that just pushes me back towards giving up entirely on radio once again, like most people already have. *Yeah, I'll likely just go back to using my existing music collection when out and about. The other annoying little thing is of course they all like to take the commercial break at exactly the same time. Now that I think about it... it's surprising that the radio industry is even still around. Oh yeah, MTV did the same thing for a while I remember---on that show "TRL"... it makes no sense; so with the most requested, most popular videos... you play 2 minutes of it then move on?! Bruh...

One of the best weapon drops in Dead Cells just now... on 3-cell difficulty... a Giantkiller sword IX++. 13k regular dps... 64k critical...and this isn't even upgraded to S-rank yet. On top of this it has +80% damage to poisoned enemies, and yep I have a turret that does poison damage....and passives that boost my damage even further. This is with 26 points in Brutality so far. I also have the "Powerful Grenade" that's X++, doing 23k damage. The damage this build is putting out is disgusting. *edit---adjusted the numbers since I just picked up 2 more scrolls... and there's more to go since I'm in the Caverns now. S-rank Giantkiller sword---now it's 70k on critical. 😮 Giant just got DESTROYED...holy shit he never stood a chance against all this damage... 2 more scroll in the next room after Giant. The sword is now at 93k on critical dps. *Yep----I've never destroyed the final boss that fast before....haha the dude had NO hope against this power.

So, Darrell Brooks got booted again so he's in another courtroom today... so now whenever he objects, which is every occasion, he holds up a sign with "Objection" printed on it....and he keeps getting muted. Nick Rekieta's stream is still covering it right now. Oh yes, this will turn out to be the greatest trial that has ever had a live broadcast. I already can't get enough of this gold. It also helps that the judge is quite attractive; she looks like a slightly older Wonder Woman...also... she has glasses on today.

I should pick up that Leprechaun and Phantasm collection next too... I have been seeing both in Walmarts lately... whenever it's October they always expand the selection in terms of horror stuff. (though Phantasm blu-ray collection has been there for the past few months now)

I took the Legacy of Kain... I also suggested DMC and Bayonetta; "stylish action" is the pinnacle of the genre, imo... I'd be fine if everyone tried to copy that blueprint to how the combat should flow. I like that they had a question for least-desired genres---- Of course my least-desired ones are the complete opposite of that: the turn-based rpg, visual novels, MMOs, tactics, get that garbage alllll the way out of my face. I hate MMOs for other reasons anyway... they also brought in the thing (forced/required online-connection) that infected and ruined rest of the industry. MMOs are the only one that seriously requires that due to the concept...and it should've stayed right there with that shitty genre.

Diablo 3 --- so I finally got my seasonal Necro up to 70 and got some paragon points and all that jazz... the Rathma's Set is the reward for Necro this season. This is the first time I'm playing with that with the change from a few updates ago...yeah, this is how it should've been all along. Rathma's set bonuses now make your resurrected minions permanent.... this is just how necromancy should work by default in any game, imo. It's not that cool when your resurrected minions are only on the field for a limited time. So yeah...currently my latest Necro is always equipped with a full squad of reanimated dead minions at all times like a proper necromancer.

I'm just now finding out there was a movie about "Shadow People"...I'll have to check this out though it unfortunately looks like a low-budget "straight to dvd" kind of thing.... The concept of them is so cool to me...prime story material there from such a simple, mysterious concept. One silly thing though is that there's 1 with a hat simply called "The Hat Man"....c'mon, bruh... couldn't have come up with a cooler name than that? Whenever you explain this modern urban legend to people....you probably lose them the minute you bring up "Hat Man" since that's where it just gets silly.

Last night's strange trip to Dreamworld--- there was some large room with green lights that gauged the general "power level" of humans and similar creatures. The greys, aka "Ebens" were formally known in the world already, and the room gauged their species' "level" to be beyond ours by not that much; it was surprisingly close. There were other beings that were apparently far beyond humans and ebens out there, so that was something to be concerned about.

That guy "Fetterman" they keep showing on the news that's running against Dr. Oz for a senate seat... that is one seriously strange looking dude, man.... he one of those people that looks like something else pretending to be human, and the disguise is just halfway convincing. Adam Lanza was so much worse though... the most "alien" looking dude I've ever seen in the news. I haven't researched this just yet but but I'd bet there's some conspiracy theories about that guy actually being an alien that went "off script" obviously and had to be stopped. I've never seen any person looking that "alien" before. Random internet searching---I have the original instruction manual for "Jungle Hunt" on the 2600 right here next to the computer at the moment... reminiscing on old memories... looking up the game online I noticed this is another one that's 40 years old this year; the original Jungle Hunt arcade game came out in '82. This is also one of the first games I remember playing that had a "final boss".

More fragrance stuff though --- so I picked up another one today since I was in Target and they already have a lot of holiday-themed fragrance things on display now....... this one was "Caramel Beignet". It smells incredible, folks... I only saw it as a candle; I'm hoping to also find an oil/bottle version so I can use that in the aroma diffuser. Oh yeah it's about to smell like a fancy department store during holiday season in here.

Ohooooo yeah, now it's time... I am compelled to go check any Stadia-related forum I can find to see how the remaining Stadia fans are coping with the latest news.
