  1. I think that's the case. There is absolutely a through line, but it wasn't clearly stated. As a side - There is a conversation about traditions that was a pretty well done in the film. There is a moment when it comes full circle at the end of the film. That one . . . NWH is a victory lap for the MCU. WF certainly has much more to say but in terms of fun-factor, NWH will likely fair better in the space. Still a good movie.
  2. One last thing - Phase 4 is absolutely is about "loss". This film is the perfect way to close it.
  3. So Wakanda Forever - I enjoyed it overall. It's easily the best film in phase 4. Ryan Coogler understood his assignment and completed it. Props to Letitia Wright and Angela Bassett as they are the standouts in this film. The guy that plays Namor is a creep in all the best ways. The movie has several moments for feels. Lastly, the memorial for Chadwick was very well done. Having said that, is this the GOAT movie. . . The movie easily could have been about 15-20 minutes shorter. It never feels long, but it could have been tightened up. There are two character designs whose elements irked me. Sometimes, being too close to the comic design just sometimes doesn't work. I think they were successful at what the film set out to do. It's worth a watch, but I won't see it four times as I did with Top Gun.
  4. Debating if I want to go the "glass cannon" route in the build. As a side, check your controls. I had to look for the "Quick Turn". It's still there but operates slightly differently.
  5. Platinum is one of the few game studios that consistently manages the difficulty curve in a way that makes you accept that death is your fault. Forgot that Andor came out last night. I'll likely watch it next week. I don't binge watch TV, but I will binge a game in a heartbeat. As a side, I was looking for a place to look at all my trophies and forgot that I had the PSNProfiles linked up. It's also funny to see how many games I started up and was like "NAH". 6. I've seen a mix as well. That said, I've been good to separate other opinions and just go in with my own set of expectations. The only bias I am walking in with right now is "was it worth it not recasting T'Challa", and I'm on team nah.
  7. Made a subtle change. it's worked out rather well for my wife (then girlfriend) as we've been living together since 2013. If the purpose is to take the edge off of the expenses, you have to govern things accordingly. If she isn't working or contributing, you are certainly not going to save anything.
  8. Gonna go see BP2 at 4p today. I'll post thoughts when I return
  9. For those romping in Midgard. What difficulty are you playing at. I remembered trying "GIVE ME GOD OF WAR" when the GOW4 was released and that was the prime example of "difficulty=damage sponge". This go I am starting with "GIVE ME NO MERCY". I just fought a few bosses and it is challenging but not enough to where I feel like I am setting up for a 20 minute battle against an imp.
  10. I occasionally flip to Cruel Altea on occasion. It's my third fav at the moment. Same here. The game is certainly fun. I don't care what anyone says, as long as you like it, you win. Unfortunately, I have to put a hurtin' on folks in the nine realms. I'll come back to it in a month.
  11. DMC3 was the first game whose trailer created personal hype that matched the final product. While Bayonetta 1 is still top-tier, the second game felt refined. I consider Bayonetta 2 the most expensive game that I have bought (since I pretty much got a WiiU for that game exclusively). The yoyos are my go to. It's between those and the fan-blades (Simoon). I really wish the gunchucks would return. Cruel Altea = Bazillions with more impact range. Also, I can't be the only one who caught the references (name and colors) I need to spend more time with the Abra Cadabra.
  12. 🤣 Glad I finished all those games before getting Ragnarok (at least the ones that I actually bought in that list). I plat Forbidden West so we are good to go and I've unlocked everything (combat oriented) in Bayonetta 3. Down on the story, the combat is pretty awesome (when the camera doesn't fight you). His final comment is exactly how I feel about it; "I rank Bayonetta 3 third place out of all the Bayonettas". I kind of appreciate how it uses DMC as a rival game. It doesn't surprise me that DMC5 > Bayonetta 3. While the combat is something solid, the story is pretty weak. I actively try to skip every cutscene of Bayo3. Bayonetta 2 is easily the series' peak. EDIT - Ragnarok is upon us. I am certain it's gonna be a great experience and I expect to shed many tears this weekend.
  13. I just finished it this evening in a single sitting. I was watching it with my niece and wasn't expecting it to be as serious as it was. I really appreciate how the more recent content is pushing the nuances of each side instead of it being pure good and evil. As a side, when we started the first episode, at about five minutes in my niece (11 yrs old) asks me "I hope this doesn't kick me out of the family, but what is Star Wars". 1. I let her know that it's OK to ask questions especially if you don't know. 2. I summarized it as a science fiction/fantasy story about the ideas of morality, family, and personal connections. That brings up an interesting question - How would you describe the entirety of Star Wars to someone who isn't familiar with it. EDIT - She loved it by the way. Now the real question . . .456123 or 123456?
  14. I was honestly in the process of replying to your earlier post. I am so terribly sorry. When my Dad left us, it was on very similar pretenses. The unfortunate side to all of it, is that we didn't know it was cancer till the AM they called us to let us know the test results (and subsequently told us he was in the final stages of multi-organ system failure). I am here if you need me man. Be gentle on yourself in this time. Again I am truly sorry.
  15. True, but will do means that it's not available yet. While it won't be the same, the value isn't there today. https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/twitter-blue-features#feature-list People got banned for good reason. A site's TOS could come for you at any time.
  16. This man is doing the Lord's work. . . This is a good one. There is actual nuance and thought put into this video. It's not about bashing the "manosphere", but doing a deep dive with some root cause analysis (with supporting documentation).
  17. I will be shocked if it does. It's such a small number of people (relative to the user base). It may be a quick cash grab but it won't stay that way. Twitter is cool for what it is, but the reality is that if you take away the social part, my Google feed can serve a similar function. Supposedly there are reports that he'll put the site behind a pay wall. Based on the Tesla brand, I wouldn't be surprised.
  18. I don't disagree, however, there aren't any substantial quality improvements, no added feature, no opportunities to extend your audience (outside of a visual cue). For those in that camp, it's a very small percentage of the platform. Even for the power users, it's not really valuable.
  19. A voice of reason in all of the Twitter discussion. The whole blue check thing is stupid. Don't expect positive feedback when you are asking money for something you used to give for free. The value just isn't there.
  20. First and foremost, tell a story. Three acts may just not be it this time. ,
