  1. Wonder how long it'll be till this tweet gets deleted. EDIT- Love this response.
  2. He said that people called him said that "Dave normalized anti-Semitism". Then started that he doesn't agree with censorship of thought. He made some really good points acknowledging that people say stupid things, we need to realize that it's a thing people do, and come to a level of understanding.
  3. Still milling through side quests with GOWR and came across one of the Beserkers (Hvitserkr the Bold). Yeah, I was under-leveled to take him on (purple bar) . . . I think I heard every version of "Your death, it pleases me". Successfully whooped that ass though 🤣 I went on YT after the fact to see if I did something wrong in the fight as it's pretty straight forward. I felt good in knowing that the strategy was there. I just made small errors that took out HUGE chunks of the life bar. Within the first few links, the boss had a green health bar (meaning they are under your level). I felt a lot better 😂. In terms of the main story, I'm only about 50% done.
  4. Yes. It was a no-win scenario with this film. To be fair, you're right, that is what the powers that be wanted. Marvel thought it was the better move to not recast and made a decision from there. The thought is the reverence for the actor and what he brought to the table. Please understand, that I agree that it's more about the representation of the character than the actor, but that is the sentiment (especially after the tragic circumstance). In movie Absolutely. There are two things at play. . . Time Secret Wars.
  5. There are a number of discussions being had about this film being some sort of agenda/propaganda that only women can get it done. That's certainly not the case. I still think that T'Challa should have been recast. Yet again, Marvel wanted to honor the actor who elevated that character in the space. They absolutely won't let this happen again. Marvel knows better now. That said, Ryan Coogler did well with the material and honored the character and Boseman.
  6. The "manosphere" is taking the discussion about the film in the completely wrong direction. The key thing about this movie is that it allowed grief to be explored within a scene and not throw a random joke into the mix (Thor 4).
  7. I agree. After seeing the movie, while it was an impressive task, they should have just recasted him. There are more stories for the character. He can have that perspective, but he is missing a very crucial point regarding the impact that Chadwick Boseman had on the role and Marvel wanted to honor that. I think this was a "lessons learned" moment. They likely won't do that again. Couple that with what actually happens in the movie with certain characters, it's a BS take. The changes to Namor's backstory were done extremely well. I like things to be accurate, but sometimes going 1:1 in real life doesn't work. The silhouette has to match. Namor looked good, till the winged feet played a part in it all.
  8. I don't care what political party you're in, I just need the person holding the role to be competent at their job. At some point, the voting public needs to realize that name recognition isn't the only thing that's important.
  9. My man asked a question publicly, was responded to publicly. The only silly thing the former employee did was the Kanye shrug regarding the private comms. Musk had to then show how much of the man he is by firing the guy and literally restate his solution. By him posting the response , he established a wonderful paper trail for wrongful termination. My how the mighty have fallen (in the court of public opinion). . .
  10. I guess Elon's taking the statement "free speech =/= freedom from consequence" to the next level.
  11. Interesting info about Edge of Tomorrow Easily one of the best movies of that year.
  12. If it's on sale for Black Friday, I may grab it. There are so many games that I need to honestly finish that I've started and stopped because the new "thing" comes out and I just spend time playing those.
  13. It will. Even the quickturn button change took only a few hours. GOWR is a wonderful time suck. I spend more time doing side quests than trying to get through the story. There does seem to be a fair bit of "you gotta get this new thing before trying to beat it". When that happens I play a story mission and then go back to running the side content..
  14. You know I bought one of those 🤣 This brings back memories. Artistically, this reignited the cool factor in Transformers. The poster used as the splash screen is still hung up in my old room in my mom's house. EDIT - Don Figueroa is the GOAT artist for Transformers. The poster he mad with every TF (sans Weirdwolf) from G1 is the thing that will always keep him at that spot.
  15. The first show projects made it very clear. Even all the way up through Thor4 you're pretty much spoonfed it. The stories this go round certainly hit differently (especially with all of the loss my family has gone through). Vision's line "What is grief if not love persevering" is the summary of phase 4's general construct.
