  1. The entire story behind that developer is legendary. My man legit went from being considered a con artist to trusted dev for his game. You have to respect that.
  2. Started watching Bastard!! While the show is pretty good, gotta give a shout out for that intro . . .
  3. The Transformers: Devastation OST had no reason for being so damn good.
  4. It's a great comic book movie that I don't care to see again.
  5. This is how I feel as well. I don't need a 1:1 remake. The concepts need to be there, but that's about it. A 90% recreation shouldn't be a thing. That Ice Cap example is pretty much spot-on.
  6. I could see that. For the most part I treat an adaptation as borrowing from another medium and using that source material as a foundation. I look at the 2007 Transformers movie as an adaptation of the 1984 TV show. You're right, maybe I should have said "live action" as Castlevania is top-tier.
  7. Given how RE is rendered now, production of a live action series make less sense. Agreed on all points here. Most of these stories try to shoot for a larger audience, but that also makes the story elements bland. It's crazy to think that Sonic the Hedgehog may be one of the best adaptations done at this point. Netflix just needs to stop trying at this point.
  8. Example #2,378 as to why Twitter can benefit from having an edit button.
  9. Personally, I still find that "Thor" is the best Thor.
  10. Honestly forgot about Tubi. That's how I watched JoJo up to the Giorno arc. Currently working on Super Beast Machine God - Dancouga.
  11. I didn't hate it, but I can certainly see why someone would. Gorr and Jane's story lines did not call for the comedy. They should have just been two separate movies given the interaction between them.
  12. So how long do you think it'll be that OAN will blame Disney on this because of "woke"?
  13. I honestly forgot that Amazon Prime is a streaming service. The only thing that I have watched on the platform is . . .
  14. There is some valid criticism here. Coupled with reading the source material and seeing how it's mishandled is a easy way to blow up expectations.
  15. Disney+ Hulu Netflix Youtube Music Personally, I use YT Music the most, followed by Hulu and Netflix. D+ only comes in when there is a new show. Honestly, I need to cancel it. I just re-up when a new series launches. Also, I miss Google Play Music. I found it was a much better service overall. I do appreciate that custom mixes/renditions of songs show up in the playlist with the current service.
  16. It was fun while it lasted. Desus and Mero part ways. EDIT - Love this clapback
  17. It wouldn't be surprised if that was the case honestly. I enjoyed the movie as a concept.
  18. Godfather . . . There are reports coming out that things are starting to cool off (at least in the owning market). The unfortunate thing is that so many homes are being purchased by these rental firms that they'll have some market influence. In the Triangle, the houses that I see purchased are bought and then you see a dumpster pull up a day or two after it closes. When you see that, you know it was an investment firm looking for some passive income that purchased it.
  19. Agree with all of this. My biggest issue with the movie was that it was a Marvel movie trying not to be one until it had to be.
  20. CRIPES Not sure how I forgot but also saw Tracey Morgan and Chappelle (this was when before he was GOAT tier).
  21. I thought he was solid. The show I saw was the "Triggered" special on Netflix well before it was posted. If you want to see what you are in for, watch that. I saw him well before COVID was a thing. Currently, Joe is playing to a certain sect of the populace. Three years is a long time in life experience and things could be different now. There are family members that post-COVID I can't have a conversation with because thier day consists of listening to either "Wacky WooHoo Pizza Guy" or some shirtless dude talking about "Melanin and the pineal gland" on YT.
