  1. Exactly. I got the urge to look at the watch once. Mainly because I was wondering where one of the character in the film was.
  2. So saw Thor: Love and Thunder. Overall, I had a good time. It was a far better "feel" coming out of the theater than Dr. Strange 2. Things that I enjoyed Thor and Jane's chemistry is on display and it's great. Soundtrack Humor is used in timely ways. The overall premise that underpins the movie. Bale's performance. Things that hurt the film Gorr and Valkyrie (as wasted/underused opportunities), The movie is more concerned with a lighter tone than the actual themes. Pacing - for a 2hr movie it felt a bit long. Personal gripe Pick a leitmotif and stick with it. I don't need Thor to be a lighter take on "Party Thor" . This wants to be Ragnarok, but doesn't have the right balance for the story it's tryin to tell. I do think it's worth your money, but I'm not over the moon for it. Bale brings its, when he's on screen, but his character becomes a way to move the story than impacting it. Out of 10 (with a 5 being "middle of the road"), i'd give it a 7.
  3. Agreed, but the reason there are territories now are because of an agreement between two parties either by diplomacy or force. While what you say is true, I wouldn't be surprised if the discussion boils down to "Nah fam, we good".
  4. 100% agree. SOR I've poured hours into. The entire game has enough variance to keep me coming back to. TMNT is a great button masher and enjoyed the time spent, but it's not something that I desire to give a ton of time to.
  5. I'm certain that Top Gun Maverick's success is making L. Ron proud.
  6. Chicken isn't vegan . . . 🤣 That movie is one of those "I wish more people saw this in theaters" types. I do think it's reached cult-classic status. I honestly hope Edge of Tomorrow gets the same love at some point.
  7. Agree with you whole heartedly. I didn't get that from the post. It's amazing how branding made the word vegan translate into healthy. Now I'm thinking about Scott Pilgrim again . . .
  8. That's true in part. Most people don't really move around and keep the same caloric load. At the end of the day, it's calories in vs. calories out. While exercise plays a part, it's a 70/30 relationship with the diet as the majority. A common statement that embodies this is "you can't outrun a bad diet". Also note that vegan =/= healthy. The food industry already got hip to marketing it as a healthy option when it's far from it.
  9. I know that Mark Gatha (Domon Kasshu) retired from voice-acting and became an orthopedic surgeon.
  10. Bruh, Ocean made it difficult to go the sub route for a few titles. Specifically, this one:
  11. Star Wars conspiracy time (or is it) Nute Gunray Speaker of the House in the late 90s - Newt Gingrich NG = NG Gunray 🔃Reagan
  12. It's amazing to see how certain tweets spread. One of my friends sent this to me a couple hours ago.
  13. The OG may be one of the few 80s movies that you can watch today and still works. Having said that, since you have already seen the second movie, it'll make the first movie seem like trash.
  14. You clearly don't have the need for speed. . . Best movie experience I've had in a long time. Saw the movie for the third time Tuesday. Two of those were in 4DX. If you can see it in 4DX, definitely the way to go. Agreed. This is a must-see in the theaters.
  15. You gotta wonder what will happen to his enablers. "The man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life." -Muhammad Ali
  16. I will say that it has. Also, the fact that the game was made practically by two people is insane. Can't disagree with anything here. I will say that flying enemies in FnR were a pain. I'd have to agree. I got it based on the hype. It's certainly a solid title but I've played better. Something that made me almost throw my controller is when you are in the "super armor" state, it drops your combo count if you are hit.
  17. This is all solid advice. Compound movements identify weak links in your movement chain.
  18. Yeah, that's the word for that one. Surprised that the character never got the proper Headmaster treatment.
