  1. Absolutely. You also have torque. Power to weight ratio is absolutely a thing. I appreciate all of this. The car community really is all up in arms about EVs vs. ICE as if it's a war of factions. It's just how the vehicle propels itself. At the same time, a lot of enthusiasts love things about the car that are actually inefficiencies or waste by-products. I've seen tons of posts about how EVs are so quiet. The reality is that sexy exhaust is really just a tuned fart 🤣. I love my V8, but people need to chill with the EV hate. There is some cool tech out there.
  2. Finally got around to watching The Creator. I thought it was worth a watch but at the same time I was really hoping that they'd dive a lot deeper into the parallels of humans and AI constructs and the meaning of being human. It felt like they left something out because running and gunning needed to happen. It's also insane that a movie with that budget looks faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than the most recent MCU offerings in the VFX department.
  3. Today has been a long day. My wife's surgery was a complete success. Now the real fun part begins. 4-8 weeks of recovery. At least four of those will be without the ability to lift anything over 10 lbs. This will make parenting with a newborn interesting. While I am thankful that things have overall been on the upward swing, I am ready for all of this to be over.
  4. It's fake. People trying to get that 18.783 seconds of fame. So far there hasn't been a credible source stating someone is trans-feline.
  5. For me 1 and 3 are the standouts. The second movie has only one scene worth going to the theater for . . . The Forest Battle TF4 was a movie with potential, but it got really lazy at the cutting room floor. The Last Knight is the only movie I have apologized for taking someone to see. Agreed. It is . . . however It's like a reverse Rogue One with the nostalgia bomb. The first 5 minutes are GOD TIER! The remainder of the movie is good, but doesn't hold a candle to what's seen at the beginning.
  6. As a side, people may hate Michael Bay for those movies, but the Transformers franchise would not be a pop-culture force without his fiendish machinations. Bay and Beast Wars are the two things that kept Transformers alive in the space.
  7. Got a 4 month old and my wife's prepping for surgery this week. We're keeping it really low-key. We got a suite at the premiere hotel on Duke's Campus and just enjoyed each other's company. Happy New Year everyone. Thanks to all of you for helping make last year special. Despite the highs and lows, this has been a great place to kick it.
  8. I'm beating Týr practically with my eyes closed. I think I can retire Ragnarok . . . again. Certainly was fun while it lasted. I also completed all of the mastery labors in the DLC. I left no stone unturned.
  9. They did this for Eminem when he did a cypher about Trump. This isn't just a Biden thing.
  10. Beat GOW:R Valhalla. For free DLC it was pretty awesome.
  11. Like I said, he'd have to have beaten ALL of those charges to at least have been "alright". As talented as he is, if it played out in his favor, folks would have forgotten about this in about a year. People who would have brought it up are those who just want to be loud for the sake of doing so. I will agree that I'm film and TV (in front of the camera) his career is DONE if not a really long pause. It'll be at least a decade before we see him again. Personally, the biggest issue I have outside of the obvious, is that the case was blown up for effectively misdemeanor charges. That's like having a drawn-out trial for doing 100 in a 70.
  12. I honestly think that if he had double perfect the court system, he'd at least have been "alright". He was the best new thing to come into the MCU. Sadly Marvel is going to use this debacle to course correct.
  13. Yes sir! MP-01 is the Optimus Prime figure that my Dad got me as a Christmas gift. I also have a picture with him.
  14. My (fictional) childhood hero. Got the chance to meet him in 2022. I can say I met my hero and it was damn sure worth it.
  15. The one that absolutely wrecked me was GOW: Ragnarok. It wasn't until the funeral that it hit me. The answer to that riddle shook my entire soul. "A hole. . . gets bigger the more you take away". For context, this was about 7 months after my Dad passed away and 8 months after I lost my dog. I legit sat on the couch and wept the entire way through the end credits. All of my grief was expelled at that moment.
