  1. When we started getting things ready she said I could do the design. I figured if I am gonna wear something, I wanted it to uniquely represent both of us. Coincidentally, on the ring's website, that design was called the "Optimus". I added the Autobot logo 😄.
  2. If I could find a silicone band that could match my tungsten one, I would be good.
  3. I got a ring for college (graduation gift from my late Great-Aunt) and that sucker was heavy. It actually cause some problems on my ring finger when I wore it too long. My wedding band I keep on except when I am prepping meat. Since it's tungsten, I don't really need to clean it. Problem is that it can't be resized. It's a little loose on me ring finger now since I've dropped a bit of weight.
  4. This reminds me that I need to call all my service providers. They get comfortable with the pricing structure they have you on and think you won't leave.
  5. I'm all for LE but something has to change. Too many people are in it for reasons outside of the "serve and protect" aspect. Also, the whole concept of qualified immunity needs to be re-evaluated. Killing a man should not be another day at the office.
  6. Literally just watched this and was gonna post it. I honestly fear that I am gonna lose a family member over this conspiracy shit. Not because we are trying to alienate them, but they're closing themselves off from everyone else that doesn't think like them.
  7. Crowder is alright. . . until you start thinking. Then it's just bad comedy. Has anyone seen this? I am dying because it gets so much right and wrong at the same time.
  8. Let Sora get a feature in the What-If series. That character is the crossover king 🤣
  9. Or you can just not be a complete idiot. We got all this internet and people still acting stupid about technology invented in the early 1900s. I loved her in that role, but I'd tell her to kick rocks. This ain't it. It's one thing to have a nuanced view behind the biological aspects or if you have certain medical risks. However, if your reasons divulge into 5G, pineal gland calcification, illuminati, lizard-people, Bill Gates, cloning, 5G, or Mecha-Godzilla, just stop. EDIT - Watched What-If. Overall enjoyed it. I think Strange Supreme has the worst "hero" arc in the MCU.
  10. Is anyone here still doing Folding@Home? My PS3 logged several hours participating. Given where we are with things, I figured I'd jump back in.
  11. A fine time for people to put their money where their mouth is.
  12. The home movie release cycle usually falls on a Tuesday, but I promise you someone had to go "we gotta make this happen".
  13. Checks the release date: *Dec 7, 2021" The day the Street Fighter movie was re-released on blu-ray was one of the most important days of your life; but for me . . . it was Tuesday
  14. Thanks for this. Coincidentally, I tallied up my PS5 play time since last year. I'm around 100 hours. I put more time into Nier: Automata 🤣. My Switch has been getting the most action as of late.
  15. This channel is mainly Mopar but offers some really good advice for a few builds. He was a former Chrysler Tech for several years and decided to step out on his own. Reignited - Cycle and Automotive https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp-nhl9hSvsrPLCZf9VtOrw He does a "ask a tech" series and offers a ton of information during those vids. Again, primarily MOPAR. Two of the big ones for me were the Cheap hemi project challenge and a 5.7L Cam swap how-to .
  16. Econ101 killed that platform. It sold terribly. If that were true about limitations, the GT AWD wouldn't exist.
  17. It's not "bad" but if you are going to drive a 2 ton land yacht, you are better off with a v8 HEMI. Think about it, that platform has practically remained unchanged since 2003. The only real changes have been VVT (08) and a supercharger with adjustments to internal materials and displacement. From 2011 - 2020. Its insane to see how fast cars have gotten. Also, there are rumors that Dodge is going to make the Hellcat versions of the Charger and Challengers have an AWD switch. This is likely due to the Trackhawk and Durango being discontinued. Powerful car, but rubber doesn't meet the road at launch. This would fix that. It'll be interesting to see what kind of numbers that car would put down with that change.
  18. Not sure what your budget is, but the V6 is a pretty snappy engine. In the Mopar Community you have asshats who shame people who get the V6 version of the car. The only time shame is applicable is when you upbadge (e.g., Hellcat badges and vinyl when you have a 3.6L under the hood). We're at that age now where road feel is less a feature and more of a nuisance 🤣. What kind of numbers are you trying to get to?
  19. For a time I was actually considering getting one of those cars because reasons. However, having a Charger just negated the reason. I saw no need to have two sports sedans. Speaking of the Holden cars, the modern Caprice is probably the closest that one can get for a "decent" cost. However, they've likely been beat up due to engine operating hours and the wear and tear on the transmission. A guy in my neighborhood babies his also. I think the guy got it as a retirement present. Best way to describe it is a metallic orange color. I agree with everything said here. On the domestic side, the aftermarket for the Mustang/Camaro platform is pretty solid. I love the Mopar family, but parts aren't cheap in the aftermarket space. I will say that the HEMI platform at this point is virtually bulletproof. If you decide to go that route, note that the Charger, Challenger, 300, and Magnum are mechanically the same car. When I upgraded the suspension, I used the rear cradle from a 2009 car in my car (2006) in case I ever decide to go full jackass with power. The 09 cradle is the same used in the 2015 Hellcat. If you want to go drifting, the BRZ is a fun toy. WRX is a solid all-around car. I used to get challenged by those quite a lot. AWD gets them off the line fast and as mentioned, handle great. They just remind me of street legal go carts. Oh and the 370Z deserves the chef's kiss. I'm not an "import guy" but respect that machine. The only import car that I'd consider is a GTR. That's a mean car. Got a chance to drive one for a track experience. It earns the name Godzilla for a reason. This is why I laughed. Those cars values hold extremely well.
  20. The G8 is a respectable machine. GM tried to enter the "sports sedan" market a couple times without any success. The Chevy SS was the ultimate sleeper. Right now I am thinking about getting a project-car. Since I have a sedan, I want to go for an SUV/Truck body. For the moment, my sights have been set on a 05-08 Grand Cherokee.
