  1. Sega says that Sonic Superstars sales were sluggish https://gonintendo.com/contents/31805-sega-says-sonic-superstars-sales-were-sluggish-sonic-sales-down-year-on-year shame....but I can't say I'm fully surprised. The product was just not worth $60 especially if we're comparing it to Mania. ^ composer for Bad Batch, Clone Wars and Ahsoka. Edit: I mean...I knew the dude was delusional but now we have an idea of just how much Edit2 : Yipes apparently has a track in NBA 2K. Good for him!
  2. That Dante King dude is a walking red flag hotep. Holy hell man. Never heard of him and I'm not interested in hearing anything else from him. Yeah racism is systemic but he's so far over the edge that he's fallen off. He's essentially doing the whole generalization shit that black people don't want being done to them on a daily basis.
  3. Its not really the "Black National Anthem" but thats the nick name of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" and it just stuck. I had to look up information on it when people started having discourse about it. It was actually a hymn/spiritual that of course has its origins in talking about freedom. If you read the lyrics its actually pretty uplifting.
  4. Didn't know that they were behind A Haunting in Venice. Wife dragged me to that movie and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Shame it didn't make money.
  5. I get what Darc is saying cause I was looking at Wish's and The Little Mermaid's numbers but the unfortunate thing is they don't include the marketing budget (at least on Wiki). So that makes more sense as to why those are considered bombs. I was under the impression that the marketing budget was included in the normal budget but it isn't which is weird.
  6. Hey @Darc_RequiemI've been hearing a lot about about Diseny putting bombs and flops in the theaters the past couple of years and I hadn't really looked into it until you mentioned that there were 6. Do you know which 6 these movies were? Currently the only notable movies that I've seen that didn't meet or exceed their budgets in the last 2 years were Strange World and The Marvels. Strange world's budget was 135-180 and box office was 73.6 which is the lowest I've seen out of ever major film release I looked at. The Marvels' budget was 219.8-274.8 and the box office was 206.1. Even Wish with the budget of 175-200 managed box office of 244.1 and I thought that would have been lower.
  7. They really did an incredible job with casting the whole look and feel from just looking at this video that it such a fucking bummer that they made some of the creative decisions they did from a story perspective. The dude playing Zuko literally sounds like Zuko in that clip with Iroh.
  8. I took my son to see the first Paw Patrol when he was close to 2. Pretty sure that was his first movie going experience and it was awesome watching him get immersed (inbetween having to take him to the bathroom constantly).
  9. This does look fun! I see the gave him his OVA hat briefly and also he does his drill attack from SA2. Edit: Is that Kid Cudi as one of the agents?
  10. Those 21 savage/Adin Ross clips I saw in my feed in the past week were wild. There were videos pointing out where there was clearly some funny business but the icing on the cake was when Adin inspected the cards and 21 acted surprised lol.
  11. "We have not called for the killing of white people,..at least for now" HOLY SHIT...
  12. Nintendo's financial report came out yesterday https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/events/index.html https://gameranx.com/updates/id/489356/article/nintendo-continues-to-focus-on-switch-as-we-enter-2024/ Q & A hasn't been put up yet Among the things to come up out of the report, Nintendo said that Switch is going to continue to be their main focus going into 2024. Doesn't mean that an announcement of some kind isn't in the cards this year just makes it less likely Switch has now sold 139.36 mill units world wide. This puts it now within 14.66 mill of DS and 18.64 mil of the PS2. Top 10 selling games so far for the Switch are MK8D (60.58 mil), AC:NH (44.79), Smash Ult (33.67), LoZ BotW (31.61), SMO (27.65), Pokemon Sw/Sh (26.17) , Pokemon Sc/Vi (24.36), Super Mario Party ( 20.34), LoZ: TotK (20.28), NSMBUD (17.20mil) So far SMBW has sold 11.96 mill, Pikmin 4 has sold 3.33 mill, and Super Mario RPG Remake has sold 3.14 mill. The console sold better than they thought it would. It's possible that if sales stay steady this year it might actually manage to overtake DS by next fiscal. PS2 is probably going to be much harder though. They'd need to have something come out that isn't that rumored Pokemon white/black remakes to get it to reach that threshold by the time Switch successor is ready.
  13. Funimation app and streaming service is shutting down in the process of migrating with Crunchyroll. If you haf any digital copies of stuff on Funimations website the too fucking bad, you lose those copies when when the site shuts down. ALL DIGITAL FUTURE BABY!!!!
  14. I showed my son the teaser and he's excited to see it! Moana is one his favorite movies.
  15. It took me a moment to realize who the human version of Cream was sitting on and then I saw the belt. Supposedly Johnny has said that Live and Learn will be in the Sonic 3 movie actually in some capacity but I've only seen people saying he's been putting in to people's DM...he hasn't come out and said it officially on a tweet or anything so...grain of salt and all that.
  16. Max put up a really indepth preview of what he got to play at the FF event for those interested
