That slither across the ground looks amazing. She might be a counter to JP let's go! September 27th less than a month nice. -

Pretty cool that Snake won a CPT event with Gief and against JP too, that's got to be like a 7-3 matchup at least. Also had a Ryu player win a World Warrior event in Germany. Low tier representing this week. -

Was kind of funny because I got one win away and got matched up with @Doctrine_Darkand his Cammy put a stop to me getting any farther 😂 -

That was a lot of sweaty ranked but we made it. Time to do what any Jamie main would and celebrate with a drink. -

During Naruo's stream I asked what his thoughts were on Jamie's matchups. And the Japanese chat responded with "he often talks about the rigors of fighting modern players. And he likes big tits." -

And if you removed Ken from the game than a lot of people would be complaining about Luke since he's also just a way better version of Ryu. Once they add Akuma there will be three shotos straight up making Ryu obsolete. It's funny though because I don't think Ryu is bad at all. He's way better than his SFV version in my opinion, he just lacks some of the top tier cheap stuff. As a Jamie main, the Ryu matchup is hard. -

That chart kind of confirms how dumb Ken is in this game lol -

I could hit confirm Karin's cr.mk in SFV and that was 17 frame cancel window. Why is anything below 20 considered too hard? -

Probably not but it's definitely something that's going to be around and be controversial. We're at the beginning of SF6 and someone already placed top 8 with Modern controls at EVO. That's a far cry from what people were saying a few months ago that pro's won't ever be touching modern controls lol. -

I mean Fatal Fury is looking pretty good. It's my backup plan if Modern takes over SF 😂 -

Yeah, Haitani was definitely taking advantage of this by doing motions for full damage combos and then using the simplified inputs for reactions. If you pick Modern you shouldn't get the best of both worlds. -

This coming from a Cammy player 😂 -

It really depends on the matchup how easy it is for him to get drinks. Zangief incredibly easy to get to level 4. JP incredibly hard to get to level 4. -

Not sure if you guys saw the Nemo video but it basically explains how to punish people who constantly fish for perfect parry. People tapping parry in the corner open themselves up to DI because there's 29 frames of guard state after using parry where the player cannot DI. If the cornered player senses DI coming they can Drive Rush from parry into DI but the other player can counter this by using long ranged crouching normals. -
A Tekken player. A game with probably the most amount of combos.

He loses to characters with fireballs because he has no decent way through them besides ex breakdance and that's a guess not a reaction. Unfortunately most of the top tier are projectile characters that can either zone him pretty well or walk behind slow fireballs. I think he even loses to Ryu. His best matchups are against non projectile characters. I think he fights Cammy and Marisa well and also maybe Dhalsim. -

I'm not one to push for balance patches but I think at this point I could write a novel on changes Jamie needs. -

Then there's Ryu over in the other corner with just a slightly better fireball. -

How's this?1 Comin' At Ya! Bringin' the Heat! I could tell like two weeks in that Ken was going to be a problem. They made a character with extremely powerful moves and no weaknesses lol. -

I think even pro's struggle with this honestly. I remember Brian F talking about it being something he was trying to get over. -

I think they did a good job with the groupings. The players that have had the most success in SF6 are all split up: Mena, Punk, Big Bird, Angry Bird and Kakeru. And the groups seem pretty well rounded. -

Torimeshi who plays Sim and got 17th, uses drive reversal a lot. I noticed JP players do it too, I think it's more important for zoners just to get some breathing room. -
