Twice tonight while playing on my Switch, I have gotten the message that my system is too hot and is entering sleep mode to cool down. In docked mode no less. Probably a problem with my console's fan. Man, I do not wanna have to send it in for repairs.

Oof! I cannot believe I made that mistake. I guess I could chalk it up to some lousy sleep and being a bit preoccupied but... Sports managa aren't my bag or really in general, but that is a massive goof on my part, nonetheless.

My oldest niece, who has never been into anime, really, really likes Haikyu!!, the soccer series. I decided to watch a few episodes of the first season and it's not bad. Grant sports anime isn't usually my bag but I could see myself riding out the first season all the way through. I got her some of the managa for Christmas from where season 4 ends up she's only seen the first 2 seasons. She isn't into reading subs while watching anime and season 3 starts at vol. 18. Unfortunately, the vols I picked up don't cover season 3. I gotta do my research better.

I'm just surprised to get even the faintest or praise from Revali. Dude spent so much if his interaction with Link in BOTW being a massive nutsack so hearing him say that made my jaw drop. First they got me liking playing as him and now this.

Bought a game that has been on my wish list for a good while now on the Switch eShop: Castle Crashers. Since it was on sale, I figured now was a good time to cop it. And it gave me something new to play with my nephew. Really digging it. Game def has a sense of humor, even if some of it is on the juvenile side. Was not expecting the first boss to end with some Double Dragon stuff. Since my physical copy of Rolling Gunner got the axe, I bought it on the eShop on Tuesday. Haven't played it yet.

I missed VGM Friday last week because Waifus of Calamity dropped.

Maaaaannn. Freaking AOC developers. Actually making me enjoy playing as Revali. Still looking forward to that inevitable feather whoppin' doh. Ya'll tried giving Link a hammer? Since it is two handed, you can't shield surf or use arrows but it cuts through mini bosses defenses so fast. Also, the run on this girl Urbosa. Not just the fact that she is booking it kin heels, but she runs like she cannot wait to find some fools to body.

I've been so busy working and playing Age of Calamity that I forgot about NEW! Animaniacs. I will repent for my sins today, since I am off.

I've been letting my dad play my copy of Age of Calamity and he's really liking it. This is actually his first warriors game. He played the demo and dug that so it stands to reason that he'd love the full game. Pretty sure he has no idea that EVERYBODY DIES because he's never played Breath of the Wild (got it for him for X-Mas) so it's interesting to see him play AOC before BOTW.

I was JUST thinking about the Melee drama, LOL. Seriously the amount of folks siding with the Melee crowd is nuts. Normally Nintendo issues C&D without warning. Everyone knows how Nintendo rolls when it comes to this stuff. Nintendo was the one sponsoring this tourney. Did they REALLY think Ninty was gonna be cool with them using the Slippi thing to play? Come on, son. Nintendo will never be like other companies.

So Physicality Games has canceled my pre-order purchase for Rolling Gunner. They did this for all their exclusive pre-order titles. Sucks because I was looking forward to the physical edition of this game. Looks like I'm going digital for this one.

Holy crap, the amount of videos springing up over this Melee Slippi thing are nuts. "Nintendo has attacked the Smash community." Or "Nintendo Hates You..." How is the Melee community gonna play the victim card when they did this to themselves? Nintendo asked them to stop, the kept on and here we are. The entitlement coming from the Melee camp is absurd.

I gotta head off to work but my copy of Age of Calamity has arrived already. Sooooo after work, we Muso baby, yeah!

Was wondering if we would talk about the Melee Slippi thing. I see it made the rounds here already. I really don't get how the Melee crowd can get mad at Nintendo when they asked them not to use an emulated version of their game. Everyone knows how Nintendo rolls when it comes to protecting their IPs. I know Melee players love sucking that game's nuts but there is a perfectly good Smash game called Ultimate that has the entire roster from Melee and way more characters. Yeah, the online can be dookie but you can play that game legally and without using a CRT TV. Ohhhhhh right, Ultimate isn't Melee, so it sucks. Granted, not every Melee player feels that way but the hyping that game has received is blown way out of proportion. It is hard for me to watch Melee matches because so often, you see the same handful of characters and stages. No wonder Sonichuman has that Melee hashtag.

Not sure if this was posted yet since this is a pretty beefy thread, but I just came across this vid. Some things I already knew, but some I didn't. An interesting watch.

I was looking up Pokemon Adventures Collector's Edition manga and vol. 4 is already out! I got vols. 1-2 for my niece and was planning to get her vol. 3 but I didn't know vol. 4 was gonna drop so soon. Flipped through Dragon Ball Super vol. 10. New villain seems cool and I like the callbacks to the original Namek Saga.

I'm always down for a good run 'n gun. If SNK gives us a Metal Slug Collection on Switch a la SamSho Neo Geo Collection I will buy that with the quickness. I don't even have an afro IRL but I am rocking that hair style in New Horizons. It even bounces when you walk. And yes, I am stoked about sitting. Peeps been wanting that forever. Just one day until Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Imma about to go into a bunker for a week to avoid spoilers. But I am SO ready to inject that game into my veins.

I was thinking about buying the SMB G&W to display it on my self. I've always thought the G&W has some slick designs and wanted one for that.

I really wanted to nab that Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch but didn't have the funds. Scalpers are already doing their business. Maybe sometime in December I can get one.
