I bought Dead Cells years ago. I finally started it last night. Combat feels good. Like, really good. Fast, fluid and fun. And I can wear different outfits? I got a Santa suit?

Splatoon 3: You know those games where you get an undeniably bad match up? I had a game on the Robo ROM-en stage in Turf War. On my team was me with a Tentatek Splatershot, a Neo Sploosh-o-matic, a Heavy Edit Splatling, and a Splattershot. And on the other team? Three, count 'em THREE MF Enperry Splat Dualies plauers and a REEF-LUX user. I took one look at the enemy team lineup and I'm like, "Really game?" That means we had to deal with a ton of rolling players and that annoying AF Triple Splash Down special. We got cooked so bad it's a miracle no one on my team rage quit. That was trash tier match making If I've ever seen it.

I can't believe Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is really 5 years old. The hype leading up to the game's release made for some great reactions. Of course when the game did release, content on the game was dope. And the AI before Sakurai and his team nerfed it for character unlocks as you went on was insane. Those MFs were behaving like pro tournament players. Had me running for King K Rool every time I knew I had to unlock someone.

Sounds like the Game Awards should be called the Celebrity Awards. They get more time on stage than the people actually making the games.

I forgot/DGAF that the Game Awards Happened. Nice to see those SEGA IP revivals. F-ZERO 99. I was in second place coming up on lap 2. First place was a Golden Fox player. And They were smoking like a house on fire. Yessss, it would be a real shame if someone were to... KO you. Golden Fox player: I made it into the Pit area. I'm safe! Me: BOOM! Turned that MF into a mushroom cloud and laughed maniacally afterwards. I'm telling ya'll F-ZERO 99 turns players into super villains.

So I went on Splatoon 3 last night to try out the new/returning stages and weapon kits. Right now, Triple Splashdown is a nightmare to deal with. It is a get out jail free card and MFs got that sucker broken out of the glass case. The fact that it is in a set with Dualies makes it even more irritating. Coming across a W was like finding a bottle of water in a desert. On the flip side, I did find out that the Painbrush is a great counter play to Dualie users. In several encounters, I was able to take out Dualie users and all the rolling in the world couldn't save them.

My oldest niece played Super Mario RPG for the first time ever on Sunday. She normally doesn't do RPGs but with this game being what it is, she played for over 2 hours. Played the remake of Super Mario RPG made me realize something: Goombas are broke AF. Seriously, in Mushroom Way, those suckers give you ZERO COINS. Bowser has that huge castle and he isn't paying what could be considered the mascot of his army? That is scummy, even for him. Meanwhile you got Wigglers and Beezos giving you BANK.

I'm on my way to Monstro Town in Super Mario RPG. That 100 jump challenge to get the best armor is something I'm not sure I can do. I couldn't do it in the OG version.

F-ZERO 99 Classic Mode feels like a whole different game from 99 Mode. Tracks aren't as wide. And boost is earned after every lap. It was funny watching players drive through the rough patches on the first lap. I'm just cruising by them on the road saying "You don't have boost on the first lap, IDIOTS!"

Why is there a "human" in @Sonichuman? Clearly, that is just false advertising.

I finished the Moro arc in DBS. Man, Goku and Vegeta got fumble genetics hardwired into their DNA. They got Moro on the ropes and what do they do? Start talking to him. Like, why are you shooting the breeze with this MF instead of putting him in a HFIL bag?

I'm not sure if Sonichuman "You're too Slowed" me on this or not, but...

Yo @iStu XI see you double dipped on Star Ocean the Second Story R. I really wanna get it on Switch but I imagine most of the time you put in for it was for the PS5 version. But if you did play any of the Switch version, how is it?

I was collecting Kaiju No.8 manga for about a year and a half now. I finally decided to start reading it and I'm really digging it. I'm slowly making my way through the Pluto Anime. Dr. Tenma is voiced by Kieth David.

The huge AF file size for games these days is honestly depressing. For all of Nintendo's faults, I do appreciate how they've managed to make their games look good, get the entire game on the physical card and compress it to where it isn't some ridiculously bloated file size.

VGM Friday.

I finally started up Sonic Superstars. I got new stages and gimmicks to learn. I can tell which tracks Tee made and which ones Jun did. From that I've heard of Jun's stuff thus far, it isn't even bad. It pales in comparison to many of his other tracks from previous games but the music here isn't bad by any means. When I hopped into a Special Stage to nab a Chaos Emerald, I was worried I was gonna have to run on a half pipe. Kudos to Sonic Team for giving us something new. Now I just gotta get used to it. The Special Stages where you go for Medals do make me dizzy though and give me some PTSD from Sonic 1 Special Stages.

A good chunk of my Switch import games I got off Amazon. Okami, Phoenix Wright Trilogy and FINAL FANTASY X/X2 HD Collection.

I stumbled across Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead on Netlfix a few nights ago. Gave it a watch and now I'm hooked. Eventually, I'm gonna get the manga. I resumed reading Sakamoto Days. On volume 4. These guys from the Order are really good.

I haven't heard any of the new remixes for Sonic Frontiers but everyone says they are total bangers. Speaking of music, the arranged soundtrack for Super Mario RPG is SO GOOD. Did Yoko Shimomura do the soundtrack again or supervise the arrangements? Either way, I love it. I'm not sure my ears are ready to hear Battle with Culex. When I played Super Mario RPG in 1996, that was actually my first time ever hearing that battle them and as much as I love the FINAL FANTASY IV version, the Super Mario RPG version styles all over it for free. I'm getting jazzed just imagining what it sounds like in the remake.

I love talking to the people in Mushroom Kingdom and they are like "Peach was kidnapped AGAIN?" Like, even by 1996, that ish was old. ---- Team Handshake won the Splatfest?! For REAL? Those germ spreading, non hand washing MFs won? Well, at least there was no Big Man Sweep. But poor Frye. Girl has been carrying Ls for over a year now. She gonna be the villain in Side Order. BET.

Amazon is currently having some nice sales. I got Sonic Superstars for $35 today. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is $15.

I've had similar issues. I find it's easier for me to consistently time attacks with Mario's hammer and it is with his fists. That said, I freaking love this remake.

Can Mario and company dancing at the level up screen in Super Mario RPG be a GIF like immediately?
