MK - Fatality Thoughts. MK3/UMK3 (1995) Unfortunately, MK fatalities started to decline with this game. The pre-existing ones had dumb changes - i.e. Kung Lao throws his hat and the victim screams multiple times despite the head being severed in the first strike Some had a cheesy vibe - Kabal "scares" you to death. Some were ok - but didnt fit the character - Jax growing to giant size and squashing you Most of the animalities had the character morph and just maul them or bite them but not seemingly kill them. Many looked bad because of the colored 2d image that looked too "2d" compared to the digitized sprites. Some are dumb bc of other reasons. So here are some of the worst UMK3 fatalities imo. Reptile Animality Strike 1 : A monkey? For a character named Reptile?!!????!!!! Strike 2: It just chases the opponent and doesn't even hit him. WTF? Scorpion Animality Bad enough its not a Scorpion, but a Penguin -which would have been appropriate for Subzero. Classic Sub zero - Censored I dont know if they were trying to be "artistic" , but it doesn't work. Liu Kang - Arcade machine Liu is a relatively serious character . Maybe Johnny Cage would have been fitting if he were in MK3. My favorites : Cyrax: Helicopter Nightwolf - Light of Heaven

His head is a "Brainmaster" that detaches and can transform into a baby robot. (2nd picture) Saber vehicle mode combines with V-star to make a big red/white/blue spaceship. The big red/white/blue/yellow robot mode with an Optimus Prime faceplate is called "Star Saber" (4th picture)

Early Legacy Tarn review

This is random, but has anyone heard any progress on the James Bond and Wonder Woman games being worked on. The Bond game was announced 2 years ago, but I havent heard anything else since then.

The first one was written by Allan Heinberg. 84 was written by Geoff Johns and Jenkins. Some people are delusional about being great writers AND directors. I'm guessing the first one doing so well led WB to give her free reign on 84. The fact that she doesn't want to do revision after the tepid response to 84 make me hopeful that a new director would be approached if they decide to do another WW film.

MK Fatality Thoughts: MK2: (1993) Kung Lao "Sagittal Slice" - (my unofficial name lol) This was arguably one of my favorite Fatalities bc the effect was unique at the time. Most finishers either decapitated, separated the torso, or exploded the corpse into "chunks" Cutting down the middle was simple and stylish. Most Improved: Liu Kang "Dragon" Fatality With MK2, most karacters had 2 fatalities and then stage finishers/babalities/friendships. Liu's cartwheel uppercut was one of the worst in MK1- it wasnt gory, the screen didnt darken-it basically looked like a special move. Thankfully, the second fatality rectified this. I still think of it as his signature finishing move. Shang Tsung - Kintaro Punch Hold lp for 30 seconds - Crazy! I thought this was BS initially, but I tried it in versus with 2 controllers and Reptile - "Eat" First one I saw in the arcade waiting to play.

I'm of a mixed feeling on this. I think most of the general public would like Cavill, Gadot, and Momoa to continue in their roles. On the other hand, you have Ezra's nonsense, WW84 being disappointing, negative publicity from Batgirl cancellation etc. I think Gunn wants a tighter/more focused universe and that could be interesting, thought that probably means full reboot/recasting for all those listed above.
