A very special episode of .... Spider-man's Greatest moments: In 1991, a classmate gave me two comics for my birthday (this one and ASM 357). The first one was a Marvel Tales reprint of the original story. I had no idea that it was printing an 8 year old story and that there were 4 main Spider-titles monthly at the time. It was written by Roger Stern, drawn by John Romita Jr., and inked by John Romita Sr. I knew nothing about Spider-man and this was my first exposure. I began comics in 1989 with Uncle Scrooge and Marvel's G1 Transformers, but this was my first traditional superhero title (X-men vol. 2 soon followed) "Shadow of Evil's Past" (ASM 238) (1983) Spider-man pursues some bank robbers after Aunt May and Nathan Lubensky (her fiancee) are nearly run over. Spidey gets all but one who escapes into the sewers. By luck, the thug finds one of Norman Osborn's old Goblin hideouts and equipment. He informs a mysterious man about it and transfers it to an old building, but is killed for his trouble. There we see the man reflect on his new acquisition ... The Green Goblin is no more. But in his place now stands... THE HOBGOBLIN! (Arguably one of my favorite splash pages in Spider-man and comics history!)

Not trying to steal Millions thunder but... I got all 5 Rambo movies on bluray for $15 at Walmart. I can't remember the last time I bought a bluray at Walmart but I've never seen any of them before and at $3/movie I thought "why not?"

DeSantis is taking his big victory in the gov race as "a calling from God". He probably thinks he can defeat Trump in the Republican primaries since enthusiasm for Trump has waned and since he was one of the few R victories to have a wide margin unlike many of the nail biting ones. While many of the R's say they want DeSantis more, if it comes down to it, I think Trump would get the nomination because of "brand name recognition" Trump probably has dirt on some of them forcing them to support him in the primaries. If Trump gets the nomination, I think Biden can defeat him. If DeSantis or another person gets it, it is a 50/50. A hero is only as good as his "villain". Democrat and Independent hatred for Trump could secure higher turnout than a wholly new person on the national stage.

Pete has no idea that her captor is Cain Marko! Black Tom has told Juggs to capture her so that her psychic powers can hhelp them defeat the X-men. Spidey tries , but cant prevent him gettng to MW. Alas, when Juggs rips her out of her chair, he destroys her life support system. Now Spidey has to stop him before he escapes. Spidey tries everything but no avail. He even drives a gasoline truck into big J... Ultimately, Spidey covers his eyes and tricks him into walking into wet cement that is part of a building foundation where he sinks.
