I don't dispute the importance of branding. There is a reason Republicans labeled the Affordable Care Act as "Obamacare". Telling people you are against the Affordable Care Act doesn't sound good. Labelling it with the name of someone they don't like though, makes it an easy sell. That said branding is part of the issue. The other issue is that if people don't want to hear what you have to say they will seek out the worst representative of your cause regardless of branding. They'll hone in on them to keep you from being heard.

Great post. Honestly, I don't really think the men's right movement shot itself in the dick. These days if someone doesn't want to acknowledge or support something, they disparage it. They find someone one that shares the same point of view that's a piece of shit, and they pretend that person is representative of everyone in that movement.

I'm not a GTA fan either but I agree. The game looked promising. It was clearly really early footage. Still it was clear that it was big step up from GTAV. All these Twitter shit takes, not the mushroom, from people that don't know their elbows from their assholes was laughable. People actually saying stuff like "the graphics get done first". We've seen games significantly improve when they are six months from launch. GTA6 is a ways off and IIRC this footage was from 2019 or 2020.

Yeah it caught me off guard too. Based on Zen 4 works, the 7700X's average clocks are higher than the 7900X or 7950X. So that gives it amazing gaming performance and since the budget AM5 boards aren't out yet. It doesn't make sense to buy 7600X. So for purely gaming the 7700X is the best option. Most people aren't going to put a $300 CPU into $300+ motherboard. Things may change once B650 hits. If the prices are reasonable and the boards are solid of course.
