    So his powers are literally based of classic cartoons with the eyes, silly sounds and all that. Gotta say it's imaginative. Like the Gorosei are saying. He's still rubber except that the awakening makes him stronger on top of that he can use his  "freedom" aka his imagination to do other things with his body. In a sense his can use his stretching in even wilder ways akin to looney tune characters.

    Now this brings a lot of questions in regards to what Shanks was doing during the Reverie or even before. How did he get a hold of the Gomu Gomu no Mi in the first place. Did he even know about it's potential?

    So knowing all this, I can't help but thinking about Shank's motives and there are two options that come to mind.

    He either planned all this from the beginning by stealing the Gomu Gomu fruit OR he didn't plan Luffy eating it and was a legit accident. In any case Shanks knows about what's going on than most people in One Piece. What did he even talk about with the 5 elders was he bargaining with them to spare the Straw Hats? Perhaps Roger told him something and he was trying to follow his will? Guess we'll find out soon enough

    So Luffy is Joy Boy / Sun God Nika ?

     

    Notice how the grin makes a sound that sounds like "Nika".  So could Luffy's fruit be something like Nika Nika? Smile Fruit? Sun fruit? Man it's going to be a long ass break.

    If this is the big meat of the Big Mom vs Kidd/Law fight I feel let down. If this is just the start I will like to see how it plays out. With the powers these three have I expect a crazy as hell fight. Meanwhile damn Orochi is just an annoying bastard, especially given the fact that he is shown effective at his evil unlike Spandam.

    I wouldn't expect Big Mom's fight to be  the focal point of this arc so I don't expect some 4-5 chapters of Law and Kidd fighting her. Too much shit to cover.

     

    So it's safe to say that the power of Awakening imbues a devil fruit's properties into it's users or surroundings? 

     

    Kidd = Gives a user magnetism 
    Law = Gives a user changeable organ properties 

     

    So probably Luffy will be able to make things rubbery around him or make his enemies have rubber properties which can enfeeble people ?

    That's true. Zoro has been using Asura for a very long time and I never once thought it was related to conquerors' haki. Unless  it can manifest in different ways? I always thought Asura was killing intent.
