Something random is occurring to me: Why the fuck is it that comedians are held to a higher standard than Kanye West? Kanye said slavery was a choice, and yet I never heard anything about canceling him on the level I heard with Kevin Hart. Kanye never had deals taken away from him that I know of. But Kevin had to choose between apologizing and hosting the Oscars those moldy old tweets from ten or so years ago popped up. And EVERYBODY KNEW Kevin Hart was joking. Why the hell do these cancel culture idiots want to flex on comedians so bad?

What's a good external drive for the PS4 and PS5 (or just the PS4; same question)? I'm realizing that the PS5 won't have better storage options for a while. I think I became spice-intolerant all of a sudden. Is this an acid reflux thing? If I have something with even a little bit of spice in it, it feels way worse than before. I made a Mexican-style beans and rice dish I've made before, but with a milder salsa than last time. I know I didn't put too much Cayenne in it, but every bite brings me closer to the devil.

No. Don't know anything about what she wants to be done after she passes. Somehow that's never come up in all this. I can't talk to her right now; she's in and out of a medically induced coma and her throat was affected by the last treatment (main reason she went to the hospital).

Does anyone know how to pay for a funeral when the one who died has no life insurance and you don't want to go the GoFundMe route? My mom has cancer, and the last treatment had side effects that ultimately placed her into the hospital. She's in a very bad state. Though she could recover, I'm realizing that she most likely has no life insurance. Also, of my immediate family, I'm probably the only one with sufficient funds to fund a funeral. It would wreck my savings though. Other members would help, but it'd be a drop in the bucket. Note that this is all speculation. She could recover to a point where I can have these conversations with her and get things hashed out. She could have insurance I didn't know about. But right now, I'm flying blind and wondering what I'll do if she dies and there was no life insurance.

For real. In terms of "nastiest things I've ever tasted", this is 2 and Chitlins (chitterlings) is 1. Also, WTF with chitlins? In order to cook them, you have to clean them a bunch of times. And they still taste that damn awful. If it's that damn nasty after multiple cleanings it doesn't really want to be food.

Random, but: my shoulder is feeling much better. I have no pain in it and damn-near full mobility back in my arm. Don't know if I need the meds at this point, but I'm going to keep taking them until they're gone. But whoever makes the pill for Prednisone needs to be arrested. That pill tastes like crimes against humanity. It works, but goddamn.

I made a PowerShell script to sort my porn just now. It'll take folders in an "inbox" folder and send them to specified locations depending on whatever token I put at the beginning of a filename. I've never been so proud and ashamed of how I just spent a block of time. At least I can copy and retool it to do the same with regular videos too.

Crap. This made me think of my family around thanksgiving. Not many of us get together anymore, but I might literally show up, drop off some food, and leave. I really hope things will be back to some semblance of normal next year around this time.
