@Darc_Requiemim getting on now. I’m good for maybe 60 an hour non-salty suggestion for SF6: give us some kind of notifications tab with game news and updates. It’s annoying as shit having to bypass 2-3 ad-like pop-ups every time I boot the game.

Man this was tough loss for us. If we had properly shown up for the first few games I would be ok with the L. Lots of birds fans blaming this on bad calls but there were definitely a bunch of areas where we could’ve played better. If you’re relying on friendly whistles to win you’re already wrong.

I think the SFV lounge on SRK was legitimately about the game early on and just had a lot of shit posts. But lots of people not liking the game, the long lulls with nothing game related to discuss, and almost every other game related topic being dead eventually it just became another GD. Personally I wouldn’t mind if this topic was restricted just to SFV talk. But as mentor here isn’t much to discuss (or much interest) and the off topic posts are basically tradition at this point.

Man my dad had one of these as a kid! It was always my favorite mouse to use too, but I always thought it just looked cool. Never knew it had a functional purpose. Thanks for all the help y’all. Edit: @Hawkingbirdi think it has something to do with how I position my hand. Using the touchpad usually has my hand making an awkward, almost scratching like position where it’s half open and half closed. I’m fine doing regular computer work or using controllers it’s just when I’m trying to move fast over a period of time using the track pad that I get uncomfortable.

I forget where you are from, but do what I do and just play with ppl here. Actually just got done a modded playthrough of Skyrim myself. A dark elf thief illusionist, but no sneak archery. Was really hard a lot first but now my character level is in the high 40’s and basically a living god compared to everyone else. I also desperately need some “big battle” mods. My character has no perks in combat skills and still could easily solo an arena of over 100 enemies with illusion, so it’s boring fighting usually at most half a dozen draugr in a dungeon at once.

I think it might be time to invest in a mouse. Lately when I play strategy games like Civ on the mouse pad I always end up getting carpal tunnel in my hand. Its one of the reasons I put the game down. Start playing a different strategy game and on day 3 my hand is still killing me 8 hours later. Is there anything I can do to avoid my hand hurting like this? It’s not something I need to see a doctor for but it’s really uncomfortable.

Still not sure if I am going to get the game, since Arc is making so decisions I *really* don’t like with the gameplay and UI. What I will say is I like the revealed characters so far. Like Darc says, 15 man launch and 3 non-stereotypical brown people really makes me want to cop lol. Even with no Baiken there is a healthy amount of characters there is already like 4-5 characters I can see myself picking as a main.

So I’m on the road stuck in traffic and in the next lane over some typical looking biker dude (beard, leather jacket, kinda big) is listening to a radio mix blaring “Can’t Help but Wait” by Trey Songz. Funny enough as I was typing this passed another dude (probably early 30’s max) listening to some song I didn’t recognize by Lil Jon. Kind of looked like this white dude who asked me what I knew about the Clipse when he heard me listening to Virginia in the car lol. it’s always funny seeing people listening to music you wouldn’t expect. Still remember some girl in high school being surprised when I told her I like rap music. Apparently she expected some sad boi emo band shit. Can’t say I blame her...at that point in my life I was still wearing nothing but oversized black hoodies and other clothes that didn’t fit.
