  1. Bruh. . . . BIG DATA is a legitimate problem. There are so many data points now that people don't know what to do with them. I explained this to a family member once. They were complaining about the COVID and the NWO and how the government is using it to track people. I responded - "So they are using a global pandemic as a front for tracking people but you carry a cell phone that has two way communication with cell towers, use location services via GPS for social media, bank digitally, and have stuff delivered off Amazon by the USPS. Why do they need to know where you move when they know how you move"?
  2. By the time he said it, the story was already shown to be false.
  3. It reminds me of how I felt about Batman Begins coming off of Schumacher's films. Especially with the trailers, I thought it was gonna be hot garbage. Was I surprised . . .
  4. Looks like the embargo has been lifted. I can easily see this being GOTY.
  5. Caught up on Andor. If they stick the landing on this show, it's the best thing Disney has done with the franchise. There is a scene between two actors that state the difficulty with the Rebellion and it's top notch. This week's ep "Nobody's Listening" had the perfect closing moment. The worst part about the series, is that it'll likely never see a home release.
  6. First time playing NSIC and landed in the top 20 (Total Time) on the leaderboards for the Prologue. Maybe it's just me, but the game doesn't feel much harder . . . you just take A LOT more damage. I lost around a 1/3 of my life bar getting reset after going out of bounds in the following chapter.
  7. I went two years without hearing that song . . . and I got hit on Nov 1.
  8. It occasionally (as in less than 5% of the time) comes off as an impression, but that's only because there are some subtle nuances between the two. If Hale comes back again to voice the character in another game or media, she'll be fine going forward. With Viola, it was occasionally the delivery. Her "ORAORA" move sounded silly. Oh yes, those tears are delicious (especially for Chapter 3) Please do - This is how you unlock some of the weapons now (a worthy change). Agreed on the new scoring setup. Also, I love how you can see the score distribution chart now. Also keep in mind that for any ravens or collectibles you miss, you do not need to complete the chapter. You can just grab and go if it saves. So far my average across all chapters is gold.
  9. I honestly wonder how long it'll e before he winds up selling it.
  10. Certainly. As a super-fan of the first two, this was about as batshit silly as anything I would have expected, but still didn't make much sense. At least the second game tied the world in all together. Part 3 was hyper-predictable despite how crazy it was. Overall, it just felt like a combination of "this is what's hot in the streets" and "reasons". . . . but who gets Bayonetta for the story. Combat in this one feels a bit simpler from the first two. Something that I missed was the ability to change weapon sets for hands and feet. I felt that it was the thing that separated Bayonetta from all the other extreme combat titles. The summoning element was good about 75% of the time. The other 25% the camera got in the way. It also does a weird selection element in terms of prioritizing enemies. The biggest foe was the one the game would select at lock-on and you would have to actively force it to the enemy you want. The new playable character is cool and I liked playing her sections and loved the witch time mechanic. However, her voice actor was way too cheesy with some of the delivery. I am still puzzled as to how Bayonetta 2 just looks a whole lot better than this game (color and performance wise). Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't the "demand you buy the console to play it" title that I was hoping for. I may have to play it more often, but right now it's the third ranked title in the set (primarily due to the combat). This felt like it took a step forward but two steps back (both in the narrative and some of the features that differentiate it from the competition). I am still interested to see where the series goes from here though. Minor gripe - Gunchuks are still missing 😢 Grade - B+ Bayonetta Rank - 2, 1, 3
  11. I'll post in the VG discussion thread as well, but I just beat Bayonetta 3. Overall I enjoyed the time I had with it but it's not better than the second one. I bought a WiiU for that game in particular, I would feel a bit let down if I did the same for this one. Still worth a purchase especially if you are a fan. The one reality with this game that was hard to bear is the Switch is showing cracks in it's performance here.
  12. Same here. Bayo 1- PS3, WiiU, PS4 (steelbook with Vanquish) and I plan to get it for the switch. Bayonetta 2- WiiU and Switch Bayonetta 3- Just the physical release Not gonna lie, it took me a few chapters to really like it. The change in weapon load out was a bit of a surprise The only reason I despise buying the first game so many times was the 100hr requirement for the gunchuks.
  13. YouTube link - Goodbye Yellowbrick Road is one of my favorite songs. So this trailer hits for that reason alone.
  14. I'll post some pics later, but man . . . my heart is full. Peter Cullen is the shining example of "how you should meet your heroes".
  15. Anybody gonna be at TFCon this weekend? https://www.tfcon.com/ I am going to shed at least one tear of joy this weekend 🤣
  16. Andor Episode 7 - "Announcement" is the setup of a new act. I'm digging how they are doing things so far. This is easily a grounded take on the source material, but with substance. They also know how to drop one-liners at the right moment.
  17. Pixel 7 dropped. With the Best Buy rewards, trade in, and gift card, I essentially get it for free. This will be the first time I have ever traded in a device
  18. For what's been produced, I'd have to agree. This adds the "war" back into "Star Wars". I can't speak on the animated shows (sans Visions), but for live action - The Mandalorian felt like "The Boba Fett show but with a new paint job". The Book of Boba Fett didn't really warrant an existence at its conclusion. This series is on a Top Gun: Maverick content elevation kick. In terms of TV shows, never have I been so proud to have been so wrong.
