  1. More good news https://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/2023/11/15/Peter-Cullen-Lifetime-Achievement-Award/4011700075781/ Well deserved
  2. Loki should have been the first thing out of the gate. So far, the only things that made sense to tell as a story are Loki, Wanda-Vision, and The Falcon and Winter Soldier. Everything else (as far as series go) has felt like filler, especially after watching Loki's finale.
  3. It damn well better be. For this franchise (hell TV in general) it's hard to come up with an ending to a great character that feels on-brand. Hiddleston's emotions in the final scenes (especially the last shot) was visual storytelling at its finest. He seriously earned the right to be talked about for an Emmy. Loki is probably the greatest character in the entirety of the MCU. Didn't even think about it till you said it.
  4. I'm happy to report that Loki sticks the landing. A fitting end to it all. His whole mantra is a thing. Also, they better keep Majors around. EDIT - Peep the title for the first and last episode and think about a few characters in the show's name . . .
  5. The pitch for this movie always hits me in the feels: Brad Bird was in part inspired to make this film as a memorial to his sister Susan, who died at the hands of her estranged husband by gun violence. His pitch was this: "What if a gun had a soul and didn't want to be a gun?"
  6. And we're done! Already deleted the game off the system 😂
  7. Not saying that it wouldn't have been a bad idea, but this is like judging a movie based on terrible concept art. . . and yes a complete waste of Ali if this came to pass. Finished this week's ep of Loki . . . . I swear this show better stick the damn landing. EDIT- I also think this is the first time they used his leitmotif at the end credits.
  8. Hey, that's that guy . . . . Quite possibly my favorite scene in that movie. There was no stunt double.
  9. Not too long before I return back to work (I've been off since August 10 due to paternity leave) I finished Spider-Man 2. I thought it was "good" but certainly wasn't a surprise that the first game was. While the story was solid, my main issues were with the mechanics. I got bored with the combat pretty quickly Peter and Miles pretty much played the same. I also had several crashes and glitches in my playthrough. The one story element that I wished happened was :
  10. I was thinking the same thing. It was certainly shown for a reason.
  11. This week's Loki episode . . . If I had to rank the series, Loki would now take the top spot. . . but we gotta see if the landing sticks for Season 2.
  12. I wonder what the version indexing will be for that 🤣 PS5 related - How large of a drive do you all have? In 2023, 1TB just isn't cutting it.
  13. It is some absolute BS. The 8 is a strong performer, yet this is just silly. Give it 6-8 months, it'll be on both devices. The 6 was the first phone that I ever traded in (I went to the Pixel 7). The main reason was the battery was ass. The 7 was pretty solid, but I've moved up to the 8 because I still have a bit left in my shenanigans fund 🤣. Now that being said, this phone feels pretty refined compared to the previous version. Also, the bonus Pixel Buds Pro were a pretty great add-on. I hated the Pixel Buds A primarily because they didn't stay in my ear. These seats a lot better. They also have some pretty "smart" features. The "Transparency" mode pipes sound from your microphone into your headset. It also has a feature where it'll detect conversations and will automatically pause your music. It's great unless you are a person who talks to yourself a lot. If That said, people are selling them on Swappa for about $100 new, which I think is a great deal. I honestly just wish that Google would create a sports model that has an ear hook.
  14. This scene still gives me chills. Andor is the best Star Wars thing Disney has put out thus far. EDIT- Completely forgot that Luthen's monologue was in the same episode.
  15. Depending on it's actual size folded, I may consider trading this for that one. The first phone was cool but it needed a bit more time in the oven. Google is making some decent hardware great with software doing the heavy lift. I'm hopeful for the 2nd gen fold.
  16. Pixel 8 on deck. I'm not the type to do the annual trade in but I have some shenanigan funds left over from the sale of my house. I personally like the single hand use that comes with the smaller form factor. The 7 had a 6.3 in screen and the 8 drops down to a 6.2. The fact that you also get face unlock with all your more secure apps (Class 3) is a blessing. This new camera also isn't a joke.
  17. Mine came in this afternoon. Also, sent you a message.
  18. Beat Jedi: Survivor . . . this should have been the TV series project. Now regarding the game itself. there were still a fair number of bugs (NPCs T-posing when the ship was flying, poor clipping, etc). This game still needs to bake a little bit longer. Overall, still solid and worth playing.
  19. Under. . . . underwhelming. That was the most mediocre shit I have seen. There was ABSOLUTELY no need for that to have been a series. Even if it was a film, NOTHING HAPPENED! It's pretty clear they recut things for Ray Stevenson's passing. He was the best thing in the show and he is somehow forgotten. As it went on felt more like a toy unboxing than a TV series. At this point, the best piece of Disney's run at Star Wars was a show that didn't feature a lightsaber.
