One of the legitimate criticisms of SFxT was that the customization options allowed people to force various degrees of visual obnoxiousness on online opponents.
 
Like, I'm all for whatever customization as an option, but at least let people protect themselves from players abusing it online.

Just FYI you can get the stage without spending real money.  It is 5k drive tickets.  I just got like 1k from opening the gift from Chun Li then I had to go into Battle Hub for the first time ever to complete a challenge to get 500 more and then I had 5k tickets and could grab it.

Jamie's drink levels reset every round and Manon's don't. You can combo into medals and land command grabs that give medals while getting stronger for doing so.
 
C'mon man.

lol it just occurred to me that Jamie can get a drink off his forward throw, but Manon, the character whose entire gimmick is leveling up off throw, can’t

Well they aren't the season 2 changes. They are just minor fixes. So we'll see how things turn out after Akuma drops.

So has anyone read the the patch notes? Capcom wasn't kidding when they said they were minor. Ryu's Hashogeki's did get a glow up. In addition to being able to combo into level 3 for OD Lariat, Zangief's level 1 got it's hit box expanded. I haven't got then through them all. I haven't seen a whole lot so far.  Here is the whole list of changes for anyone that wasn't aware they've been posted.

Edit: Ryu actually got a decent little list of buffs. They shrank the hurtbox on his Hadoken and Shinku Hadoken. Also the changed the type of hit for his OD Shoryuken. If I'm reading that correctly, it seems like it has more juggle potential.

Doesn't the CPT season start mid year? I'd think they the patch would drop before CPT starts for 2024.

I'm glad Luke didn't win. I'm glad JP didn't win. I'm glad Ken didn't win. My CC CUP was the LCQ. I hope they beat the fuck outa Luke in season 2. Respect to UMA though. He came through.

I tried but tapped out around top six.  And that was with skipping Luke mirrors and all JP matches.
 
Didn't help that the days leading up to it were also full of SF.  Total overdose.
 
 

Can't believe I watched SF6 for 7 hours straight yesterday.

Man, I checked the YouTube channel to see how long the thing took and managed to catch the reset live. Would've never called Uma taking it, but to be fair I haven't kept up with his group either.
