Legacy of Kain and Vampire Hunter D have the best Vampire worlds. Kain because he really doesn't care long as you dont "surpass" him, and even that is pretty debatable really, and D because by the time his stories take place Vampire society has fallen apart so you can do whatever you feel like with the only consequence being you MIGHT run into D at some point...maybe, Oh and Vampires from both universes are incredibly powerful, with the Kain universe vampires able to evolve and earn new powers.

Yea but go inot CV circles and talk classic CV and people praise 4 up and down lol. With that said im hardly one to talk i sing the praises of Rondo and Bloodlines constantly so yea.

Yea all of them are really fun for the most part, I just find 4 and SOTN pretty over hyped.

Yup, as well as being able to alter jump trajectory in mid air, and move while crouching. The biggest offender is the 8 way whipping tho, it invalidates all the sub weapons except the Cross. Thats a massive shame imo. Why carry the Axe or the Holy Water when you can whip up in 3 directions and down in 3 directions?

The BlazBlue ones can be pretty silly, but then the name BlazBlue really pisses me off anyway since they prnounce it Blaze, but its spelled Blaz. I still say Blahz Blue personally. GG Xrd Rev 2 is fine since Rev is simply short for Revision. Its GG Xrd Revision 2. Pretty simple, to the point and clear. Xrd is just the X replacing the 3 in 3rd since they didnt want to deal with the implications XXX would imply lmao. Edit: Now that I think about it I hate most of the way stuff is pronounced in BLazBlue. The announcer drives me batty. "Da Well of Phate is Terning" Uhg. BlazeBlue is an overly chatty game in general, the characters never shut the fuck up. Hella annoying.

CVIV changes too much about the formula kinda wrecking the balance and why enemies are designed the way they are. It's a great game but I think its one of the weaker classic CVS and have found it ruins people for other classic CVs if they play it first.

I'd take the series S back of you can't be happy with what you get.

Soldier Blade is peak Hudson. Amazing OST. Pure fire. Great game to. There is an over emphasis on Bullet He'll these days (Even tho I shill the fuck outta Crimzon Clover) and I would like to see a return of more Caravan style Shmups. I like Super Star Soldiers ost it it sure if hard to hear over the overdrive sound effecfs. Ice never seen that dudes channel before. Will have to check out more of his stuff.

NiGHTS is kinda cool. I used to have a copy but that was years ago i dunno what happened to it. One of the few to get away. Game would probably be better on Steam these days, analogue control has come a lot farther over the years, Saturn 3D Pad is pretty outclassed these days.

Batsugun is my favorite Toaplan shmup. Once this track kicks in its on. Stage 2 is a really fun stage with a challenging 2 Stage boss. Almost every Gradius game has a boss rush stage near the end, Gradius Gaiden just happens to have one of the best ones with the best boss rush theme of the series imo.
