Vampire Hunter D is the greatest. I've read every novel. They're like cyberpunk + fantasy + vampires all rolled into one. The books are where it's at. The first anime adaption is really old and didn't age well. The second one looks pretty and sorta tells the story from one of the books -- it's ok I guess. I haven't tried Greylancer, the other prequel series from the same author yet. 90s bois might recognize two other anime adapted from the author's other works: Demon City Shinjuku Wicked City

...aaaaand I'm retarded. Bought Ultra for PS4 and didn't realize I had it on one of my many other PSN accounts. 🙃 @Darc_Requiem I added you on PSN. @Sonero You didn't fill out your PSN info in your profile. SHAMEFUL. I mostly played SF4 locally and in arcades. #blessed

PS3 version was fine. I played hours and hours on every platform and honestly it doesn't matter. PS3 closer to arcade timing too.

So I've been waiting on AMD's GPU announcements before pulling the trigger on a new GPU. Gonna put the new GPU in my main rig and move my GTX 1080 to the rig in my living room. Unfortunately that means I can't play games on my living room rig since it only has integrated graphics. I got tired of waiting and got myself a 50ft optical HDMI cable and ran it from my PC to my TV. Works great! Added bonus of using it as a third monitor for my main PC if I want. Handy for showing people things or watching movies -- don't need to access my movie drives over network now.

Unfortunately I don't think this is possible to change. I'll let you know if I find anything.

NeoGAF and Resetera use manual validation for new signups and want to keep randoms out. Having a non-free e-mail address means that you are either a professional or are at least willing to put in some effort, which eliminates 99% of the internet randoms. I've got working NeoGAF and Resetera accounts, but I have not used them in some time. While I think it's great to have more new members, I don't think they're really our target demographic anyway. If someone wants to try to get those people to come you can knock yourselves out though. @Mattatsu @Darc_Requiem @Sonero let me know when the SF4 starts. Just bought the game for PS4 and am installing now.

Dangerous Mezashi Cat is some doujin music group in Japan somewhere. Don't bother following that channel. It's just some guy who uploaded one of their CDs. Just search for Dangerous Mezashi Cat on Youtube and you'll find their stuff.

Other forums don't exist. They're all dead. What we need is something of value that will drive people here from the platforms they are currently on. Then once they've had a taste of the good stuff we'll hold them hostage. I thought about allowing people to post status updates on their profile pages like FB/Twitter. People will be able to see your status updates and comment on them just like on social networks. I've also thought about giving users blogs or creating a wiki. Not sure where I want to take things yet. We've built a cool clubhouse but now we need some kind of attraction that will pull people from Twitter/Reddit/Discord. It's nbd. Slow and steady wins the race.

We talking shmups now? Soldier Blade is one of the best shmups ever created. Here's a remix of the first stage BGM that I really like: Its cousin Super Star Soldier has some dope tracks too: Dangerous Mezashi Cat make some great game music remixes.
