  1. It is, because unlike old Fightcade, Fightcade 2 uses multiple emulators. In addition to a better version of Final Burn, Fightcade 2 also uses nullDC for NAOMI support. Go to the Fightcade 2 directory and open up the ROMS folder. You'll see shortcuts to each of the different emulator ROM paths. Place the Project Justice NAOMI rom files in the nullDC ROM folder. Alternatively, you can use nullDC-BEAR. It's not rollback and requires you to use RadminVPN to connect with players, but the program downloads ROMs for you automatically. I know some people prefer online CVS2/MVC2 over nullDC-BEAR rather than Fightcade 2. You can even use nullDC-BEAR to download the appropriate ROMs for you, and then import them into the Fightcade 2 ROM folder. Since both Fightcade 2 and nullDC-BEAR use nullDC as the base emulator, you SHOULD be able to swap ROM files between them no problem.
  2. What images are you trying to add? You need to use the URL of the actual image. A lot of sites give you a link to a page with the image on it, not the actual picture file itself. You need the actual image path. The URL should end with .jpg/.gif/etc.
  3. It is but he doesn't need to do that many lights. Yun has a 2x cr. mp starter bnb also.
  4. The Akuma/Ryu/Cammy classic are 2x cr. strong combos. Any punish or jump-in is gonna be started with a heavy, just like in SFV. Cammy low forward confirms are a big deal. Viper can't do shit with lights. Almost every SF4 char has light confirms, but they're definitely not the best or only tool. SFV takes them away almost completely or makes them useless, but I'd rather have the option to confirm from lights if I want rather than be forced to use mediums for everything all the time. Ultimately they're both very different games, but to say SF4 is just light attacks all day seems pretty reductive. SF4 is also not the first SF game to use a lot of lights either. Lights into special/super have been around for a long time in other games too, like Alpha / CVS2. Don't need optimal when you're already the best. 💪
  5. The whole point of starting combos with lights is easier confirms. Sf4 got plenty of combos that start with heavies and mediums. Light starters are usually discouraged.
  6. I used to only get flagships but now I buy midrange. They are really quite good now. Still wouldn't pay less than 300 though. Once you drop below that you start getting more serious compromises. Something like a Galaxy A51/A71 is as low as I'd go without having to worry about what I'm missing. I'm using S10 Lite right now and it's dope. S20 FE looking good too. If you don't live in the US then Xiaomi/VIVO/Oppo got some really nice midrange phones too.
  7. 30th seems a bit silly on PC when there's Fightcade. Might as well install it now. I'll body you later today.
  8. When I have time later today I'll hook you up.
  9. I only care about action RPG Castlevania. 🙃 I beat the original Rondo of Blood and that was good enough for me.
  10. Accent Core Plus R Steam version getting rollback beta just like KOF!

  12. This is the Melty Blood thread. Melty Blood is currently my favorite fighting game. I will play it with you. I will teach it to you. I will give you the game. My desperation knows no bounds. Why this game is cool: Alpha 3/CVS2-style groove system Rollback netcode* Super fast paced, free-form combo system Characters to fit almost any playstyle Large player base Low system requirements (will run on basically any PC) Beautiful 2D animation (even if it's a little low-res) *only available with the community-created edition. This is the version everyone else uses. Nobody uses or likes the Steam version. Ask me for details on how to get it. Basic Overview Melty is a fast-paced game that offers players a lot of flexibility. The 3 different grooves change how you play pretty drastically -- it's like Alpha 3/CVS2 on steroids. Some grooves are technical and allow you to have precise control over your meter, while others basically handle it for you. Some grooves allow reverse beat (chaining light normals after heavy ones), and others are Guilty Gear/Blazblue-style (you can only chain light moves into heavier ones). Automatic shield counters, spot dodges, just defends -- pick the right groove and Melty will let you play the way you want to. Different versions of a character will play completely different from one another. Each groove grants characters completely different move sets, abilities, and mechanics. This means that there are essentially 93 characters in the game (31 characters x 3 versions). There's something for almost everybody. If you're an execution monster looking to do some sick loops, there are some characters that will really challenge you -- but most characters are not hard to pick up and learn. A lot of characters have pretty simple combos that work well even at a high level. Thanks to the game's low system requirements and community edition's excellent netcode, this game has a healthy scene. Unlike a lot of other old games, this one still has lots of new and inexperienced players. If you're looking for games/want to learn just hit me up or post in here. I'll teach you the basics and help get you started with the game! People in Japan still play this game a lot and new matches are being added to the database constantly. Haven't seen any comparable tool for any other scene/game. This thing is amazing.
  13. Wolverine has gotten to the point where if only a bit of him remains he'll regenerate. He's damn near invincible. Now there's a power I'd like.
  14. Whatever man I'm not even a Sim player. 😤 😭
  15. Give me a few minutes. Making dinner. PC or PS4?
  16. You can try Fighting Game General or make a new thread. Up to you.
  17. I didn't really enjoy it -- gameplay style is not for me. I can see why some like it though. Sadly the graphics are whack.
  18. One of my rigs is on the same platform with a i7-6700. Quad core not really great for super modern titles but if you're just streaming fighting games then it should be fine.
  19. Punishing with a jab combo is a really bad idea. The only reason it happened to you is because we're rusty as shit/were just trying to remember how to do combos. Actually optimal punishes do fat damage in SF4. FADC isn't bullshit. How dare you. Next you're gonna tell me Roman Canceling is bad too. 🔫
