I’m the hour of you posting this everyone has maxed out 2 job classes on the beach.

yes! but i only just beat that beserker prince the enemies at the beach actually drop fresh fish so it kinda loops itself once you get started but if your looking to start of with fresh fish i think a sidequest in the first town has some as a reward.

bravely default 2 is pretty dope so far. they really want you to mess with the job system  cause it was smooth sailing up until that berserker boss got in my ass in chapter 2. the current strat to max out classes is to go to the starter beach use fresh fish to get chain encounters max out free lancer 1st for the jp bonus abilities after equipping those it takes somewhere between 25-40 min to max out a class with the battle system running at the highest speed.

So Bravely Default II did something cool with Red Mages. I’m not sure if this has been done in other rpg’s by square or the previous Bravely Games as it’s been forever since I played them.
 
As most know Traditionally Red Mages are mages who are decent at attacking but can learn mid-level black/white spells. 
 
well, in bravely default II they learn a heal spell that has a fixed about (“ara” and “aga” variants heal for a higher set amount), along with an earth based spell and a wind based spell. 
 
however, they learn a passive ability that adds status effects to offensive spells. Well, in Bravely Default II (I don’t remember if you can in OG and Second Layer) you can equip a sub-job. So I have a red mage currently who also maxed out the black mage job class as an offensive and status inducing mage. 
 
It’s kinda cool. Fire has a chance to cause Doom, Blizzard has a chance to cause Frozen (it’s like poison but the frozen target can’t move for 3-5 moves) and Thunder causes paralysis. The red mages spells Aero can cause confusion and I believe Stone can cause Slow. 
 
it’s really neat. I also just unlocked the dragoon, Salve-Master (alchemist) and Painter (not sure what kind of class it is) but no one is equipped to them right now. 
 
Out of all the classes I’ve messed around with out of the ones I’ve unlock the only one I don’t really like is ShieldMaster. But likely because it’s 100% defense base. You’re not even supposed to attack with it and I’ve always been a very offensive player when it comes to JRPG’s. 
 
my favorite class right now is thief though. They learn an amazing attack called Godspeed Strike that’s based off speed instead of power and after 2 turns have passed you the ability hits them for even more damage. It’s super useful against bosses. I have 1 party member who is leveling thief right now and 2 party members who are using mastered thief class as a sub-job. So life bars are just getting torn to shreds.

ill admit i really like how everything in skyward sword is a puzzle  i also can't stand the hyrule field environments in zelda games their just that place i have to go through multiple times to get to the actual cool place so i don't even care that skyward swords field is empty.

maybe i should try that new werewolf game i've always thought werewolves were cool since i played killer instinct on snes when i was little. coincidently because killer instinct was my first exposure to werewolves i always expect them to cartwheel people to death instead of tearing them apart. id totally cartwheel somebody to death if i was capable!

Werewolf-- it's funny that you have the option of going beast mode in the middle of certain conversations...there's an achievement for that too, actually.  I'm enjoying the hell out of this game... the combat often reminds me of Prototype, and that was one of my favorite games of the 360/ps3 era.
 
the chumps that work for that company in the game---"Endron"... no way they're paid enough to deal with the vicious hellbeast that is Cahal.  If it were me, first time I see that dude transform, I am OUT of there.  On his hind legs this dude is looking like 8-ft of pure bestial rage and terror. The rest of the fools stay trying to fight but nah bruh I'm out...

 
edit--oddly enough, it's the werewolves that seem to be the most dangerous threats in the "World of Darkness"...if we're just talking about on average, y'know... there's good reason why the vampires take them very seriously.  Just dealing with one of them in a fight can be quite the problem.
