Y'all didnt like Sanada as Scorp, Kano's humor?

I hated the casting for Shang/Raiden the most and Cole the character in general.

I feel you on Shang, man was ok but dude wasn't fun.

Raiden, after the terrible one we got in MK: Annihilation, you could do whatever and be above the garbage line for me unfortunately. You want Ben Kingsley I will be fine with that.

  2. Spoiler

I do agree with Stu, Onslaught is a dope design but a shitty character and mostly a plot device. Granted even Doomsday has eventually been redeemed in other stories and adaptations but I just can't feel Onslaught despite it being perfect for this show and what they are building up.

Also on other news, Nic Cage maybe back for a Spider-Man Noir live action TV series.

People are taking all this out of context or just flat out wrong and they’re making console warrior nonsense out of it. It’s so fucking annoying.

over 90% of Squares modern library is already multi-platform. Exclusivity deals hasn’t hurt Square. What hurt square is all of their titles (all of which have sold within or over internal expectations) haven’t made up for all their shitty investments over the years or the lack of growth in other areas.

They lost their ass on Avengers and are still recovering. Same with Forespoken. Same with Foamstars. They over paid for a bunch of studios they sold at massive losses. They lost their asses on non-essential AI programs, Block Chains and NFTs, the projects they’ve cancelled were due to bloated budgets or personnel leaving. Their mobile gaming division also saw little to no return which is why they keep dialing back on it. Not to mention lack of grown in FFXI and FFXIV.

Pretty much everything else BUT exclusivity is causing Square to restructure. They just worded it poorly.

It is funny/sad how the same shit (bad investments and planning) that caused them to have to merge with Enix back in the day is what is hurting them now.

This is a likeability battle at this point. Ppl have already chosen there sides. It was fun and engaging but now im ready for the Kendrick/Drake beef to be over. It aint even about the lyrics and music anymore, its about who ppl like more. Fans are bias and insane and don't seem to realize it

True and frankly, I don't care either of these negros. They make great music and I am here for that but both of them is entitled as fuck in their own ways that makes me pity the youth who want to crown them as the best of anything. Most rap beef is stupid in the end but the longer this goes on the more both of them will look like asses IMO.

  5. Mad at myself, I completely forgot free comic book day was this weekend and spent the whole time doing house chores and catching up on anime.

It was raining a lot but in the afternoons on both Sat and Sun there were spots I could have made a run and grabbed a few books. Hope they still keep some for this upcoming weekend.

  6. I love the Peter Parker character but honestly his main books are rarely above average at least during the last few decades. You might get a fire story arc here or there or great concepts but the most consistently good run was Doc Ock joy riding in his body. Which is crazy because we have seen multiple runs on Ultimate Spiderman now do the character much better.

Yea thats a failure of the director/art director. They failed to make sure there was any level of cohesion between all the guests artists. Yoy can have gueat artists while still maintaining your overall artistic cohesion. DMC3 had Kaneko design its DTs and while they do stand out against the rest of the Demons in the game they still manage to fit in over all with the games looks and style and color choices.

But even without that I think a lot of the Blade designs are really bad. Even if they where in a game with cohesive art design I would still think a lot of them suck.

I think all of that was hilariously accidental. They were thinking getting multiple artist to contribute would help speed up the process trying to hit the Switch launch year, which they did getting it out by December that year, without realizing they didn't give enough instructions leading to what they got.

Personally I love it, while some indeed look like ass and you have a major character that is basically just the artist redrawing one of their favorite Final Fantasy characters, it is an interesting visual. Plus anything is better than what we got with the Xenoblade Chronicles X models.

Separating Storm and T’Challa is the best thing they’ve done for both characters.

I agree but I do hate the way the break up was done.

Which outside a few story arcs unfortunately was a lot of their relationship for me. But that is modern Superhero comics.

If this was 2021-22, they would have probably been gobbled up by someone. However with the current state of the industry, everyone sans Nintendo seems to be laying off developers, I'm not sure. Most companies seem to be trying to hold together what they already have.

You are right, their properties might be worthwhile but taking all the developers may not be that attractive.

I could see Nintendo buying them only because they have worked with them before on multiple projects and I think co own the Fatal Frame IP. The only publisher from Japan I could see as being interested in their IP and development teams equally would be a smaller but growing publisher like Arc Systems. Owning the Ninja Gaiden franchise would fit their current portfolio of classic IP, plus it would give them access to teams that have more experience in other genres not just action or fighting games.

  10. It will be a shame but I don't know if Koei Tecmo will last into the next generation. Outside of contract work and Dynasty Warriors/Warriors spinoffs I can't think of a recent successful game.

Atlus was the same way and wound up getting gobbled up by Sega. I wonder if there is any company that values KT properties or development enough to take them on?

  11. As a kid I found out Forge and Storm were in a relationship reading a comic book... For some reason I never forgave the character of Forge and have disliked every incarnation of him in every media.

I say that to say I still hope the new X Force run is good. It's premise sounds like it could be fun.

That's cuz P.N.03 was more a proof of concept then a game imo. I honestly don't think that thing was finished.

It definitely felt like they were trying for something but got told to wrap a bow on it before the concept or game was fully formed.

It was the first game of the Capcom 5 that actually were released for the GameCube and the most forgotten.
