I originally thought the He-man Wars were between Conservatives upset that that the main male character was sidelined and liberals happy that female characters got characterization. (Or at least considering Starhammer posted most of the anti-He-man vids in the lounge) But maybe I was wrong given some of the folks posting. You guys arguing about it makes me want to renew my Netflix sub and see for myself.

I am a hypocrite lol. I got the TFTM 4k steelbook and watched the full frame BD that came with it. I am not a videophile. Take this with a grain of salt. I feel the picture quality is 20% "better". It seems more vibrant and the colors are richer. Dark grey seems more close to black. See Megatron's "undies" The glowing effects (Matrix energy, laser blasts, lightsabers, green energy during the birth of Galvatron" look stunning and is easily the most improved visual aspect. The sound is the same as the 2016. Its clear with very minimal rear output. The subwoofer low frequency is very understated imo with the exception of Unicron saying "welcome Megatron" The extras are a mix of the Sony 2006 DVD and the Shout Factory 2016 BD. The Death of Op and Q/A featurettes and the commentary are from 2006. The 46 min documentary is from 2016. The fully new extras are acoustic performances of "The Touch" and "Dare" by Stan Bush and an art gallery of the new release artwork by Matt Ferguson. The steelbook comes with screencaps of the movie on card. Cute but not something I will ever look at again. I wish the hubs were on different sides of the inside. Be careful when taking the "lower disc" out. Overall 8.5/10 IF you have only a DVD/VHS of the film, even the 2021 BD is a huge upgrade. IF you have the 2016 Shout BD, its a tougher call. Even though I don't have a 4k player, Im glad I have the 4k disk so i dont have to buy it again in 5 years

Would you say it's the best live action DC show on now? I hear this and Doom Patrol being praised in the DC thread a lot.

Last season of Flash I watched was 5 with Nora in the present. First 2 seasons were uniformly great, then it became a rollercoaster. If these shows were not on a small network like CW, they would be cancelled so fast. I think the last cw DC show I watched was Arrow S8. That was decent at least.

Roughly 6 months. The last posts in GD were around Feb 25 , 2021. I checked for a 2-4 weeks to see if it would come back and then just gave up lol.

For single player games, I would ideally like somewhere between 6-15 hrs. With some exceptions (Yakuza) , it's rare that I enjoy longer games. I do like some short games like platinum Transformers and Streets of Rage due to the gameplay being fun. I have never really played any rpg so I have never really played a single player game that lasted more than 32 hrs for the main campaign.

I've only gone to Walgreens once in like 20 years lol. Sometimes they have exclusive transformers doe. I got Earthrise Blue streak from them very easily.

Worst CBM for me: Batman and Robin. Also, it's the worst film I've ever seen in my life. Best: X-men :Days of Future Past. The Dark Knight is only a hair underneath bc I am a long term X-men fanboy. Both are really dramas (crime drama/sci fi drama and the action isnt mind boggling.) Spider-man 2 was awesome for me and if Spider-verse not come out , would be the best Spidey movie definitively. I have them tied in my rankings.

I just saw The suicide Squad in the theatre. Pros: Feels like a Guardians meets Deadpool type of film. good humor mixed with violence, Character backstory for Ratcatcher 2. She was my favorite character in the film. The banter between Peacemaker and Bloodsport was funny too. This is probably Margot Robbie's best outing as Harley imo. Joel Kinnaman as Flagg is most improved from last time. Cons The soundtrack wasnt as memorable as Guardians. Nitpiick: The main characters arent as "super scummy" as some from the first film. You almost forget they're villains and more simple outcasts. Overall: 8/10 A major step up from SS1, though in some ways it is a R-rated Guardians for DC
