  1. Absolutely love it. She looks great and it's a nice update to her look. You feel like she's comfortably arrived in a new place in her life. I'd like her arms to be bigger like in alpha, but that's really it. No complaints from me.
  2. Agreed, it's showing that they're not just doing things by the numbers, they're having fun and feel they have enough budget and freedom of direction to do neat stuff like this.
  3. Off topic, but I always loved Cavil readying his guns, I wanna see Q do this before doing his Critical Combo super lol On the subject of supers with what we've seen officially and in the leaks, I'm really excited to see what everyone's moves look like this time around.
  4. I made a video with my findings about the trailer. I started yesterday, but with the super fast flow of info, it's a bit outdated hah. Still, if you wanna check it out, lemmie know what you think!
  5. Checking out the official website has been interesting, we're back to multiple supers and 3 levels of meter. There's also modern and classic control schemes.
  6. THIS. THIS THIS! I'm glad we didn't clumsily tumble into a dystopia or sorrow fest. I'm eager to see what's going on with all factions here With all the muscle women brightening my Twitter timeline, it's nice to see SF get a bigger, brawny lady in the cast to bring in some variety. I'm just not sold on her hair yet since it looks kinda off, but I'm down for giving everyone a shot. Man, sometimes seeing something in action is better than reading it. I wasn't sure how to feel about things when reading that supposed leak, but I'm digging everyone, just hoping JP isn't yet another Shadaloo dude and is tied to G's organization or something truly new. Amen, my brother, amen! Yeah, while I'm happy with what we have so far, I really would have liked a few 3rd strike reps or alpha ones. Holy crap, I hope that "leak" is false with regards to Alex and the SF3 characters. That sounds crap.
  7. 10 years? How old is Li-Feng in SFV and 3? I thought she was around 8-10.
  8. Metro City Revitalization Memorial Aw man, I hope Haggar's not dead. Am I reading this wrong?
  9. Holy crap, there's so much. Zeku the "Godspeed" opened up Godspeed Roast and possibly they serve Final Feast!
  10. CHUN'S new look is gorgeous! Metro City looks amazing! World tour mode 3rd person?! New logo New modes, a focus on creativity? That has me excited! edit: I've noticed a TON of things and documented them in a thread here. I'll try and make a video collecting my observations tonight.
  11. I'm overjoyed, Captain Commando toys are coming: I've wanted to get some merch of the good Captain for ages, now I can! (Hopefully this is the first step in a slow resurrection of this IP)
  12. Agreed, the way they constantly obscured her face and Cody's arcade ending make me think that's true: "That man is now a mayor struggling to deal with the policies, petitions, and plans that clutter his desk. From the clutter though, shines a smile from way back..." the panels show Marlowe smirking and then there's a close up on a post FF1 picture of Haggar, Cody, Jessica, and Guy. It would make sense though, her keeping an eye on him for her sake and Haggar's as well as a way to get to know him again. Edit: Also, I feel it's hinted at with some of her dialogue. "Please, Mayor Cody! Mayor Haggar, who previously held your position, asked me to do my best to support you in taking on this job. But if you can't handle the responsibility, then I'm not doing what I promised him.
  13. RE Blanka: He's built on the Wild Child/ Tarzan archetype. He's come back from the jungle and is ready for his next phase. Many Tarzan properties do have him eventually going back to society and embracing some of "civilized" life, while keeping his wild heart. Having Blanka do the same would move things forward. Dude's already got Blanka-chan as a business venture that was rough in the start, but could go somewhere (as indicated that it eventually became really popular down the line in his storymode). It could be something different and fun to shake things up instead of going back to the same ol' same ol. He already made his mom proud, his community likes him, so why not do something fun with contrasts? RE Cody: It's the natural evolution of his Hero>Fallen Hero>Redemption arc. He cleaned up the streets, got too reckless because of a void in his life, went down into a spiral, finally got his act together and wanted to give back to Metro City and ensure it stayed stable after Haggar left. Makes sense to me.
  14. Agreed. For ages, I had an old goofy idea that down the road, if he joined Slammasters he'd have a Doc Jeckyll/ Hyde/ Tarzan trying to be in civilized society gimmick where he'd present himself as a man of society and flip out into a berserker (only for show), but recently, I've been pushing for a Michelle Chang-like angle where Blanka uses his celebrity (with Dan's marketing help) to be a huge proponent of saving the amazon & nature in general. He'd still be the Blanka we know and love, but a bit savvier, clever, and as HD-Man said, have some revamped moves. I definitely think there a way to keep Blanka along for the ride in SF, but advance his story tiers.
  15. Out of all the stuff you've done, this is one of my top favourites. I have a love for Noir & retro aesthetics. This is cool and the lighting is so on point. Well done dude!
  16. Same, I keep saying they should move in a new direction, if this is his default, I'll love it.
  17. I've always liked the idea of Blanka in a suit, it's fun. I think both models look real good. In general, despite not playing it, I love how Fortnite does the Marvel characters, I'd love games where they looked closer to that style instead of chasing realism all the time. I think of the SF cast, only Guile has looked gnarly to me. Ryu looked a bit different, but still okay.
  18. I enjoyed Max's vid too, but I want Adon & Necro back, I don't care lol. Adon''s too fun and full of ego. I also feel Necro is so underrated and could really bring something to the lore if we get more focus on him and Effie's lives pre and post Illuminati kidnapping.
  19. Absolutely. Heidern & the Ikari Team in KoF are the perfect Blueprint. Go with that and you have a very interesting future for those characters.
  20. For a while I've wanted things to stay interesting, but not constantly be escalating the scope to end of the world levels, or at least differentiate the threats. I've used this comparison before, but with the Avengers films, they capped off the first big one with an alien invasion, it changed the scope of the universe, but then they went with a story that dealt with political issues and robots, then they ramped up to a universe-spanning-close to things and now are messing with a combo of smaller, personal stories and multi-verse antics. With the G threat, I'm curious to see how that'll go and how the Illuminati will be dealt with. Will they be exposed to the world even further than SFV, defeated? Slink off into the shadows to return at a later date? Change leadership and become not so crazy? Either way, after those are dealt with in maybe SF6, say SF7 is a palette cleanser, not a dream match, but I'd be interested to see martial arts movie tropes, but bring the scale down again. Have a tournament with another plot going on, not end of the world, but maybe there's a tournament with a generous cash prize & mystery. The tournament organizer turns out to have had some priceless artifact taken by some rival group or something and the tournament is a way to recruit a fighter to get it back and offer a nice payday. I don't know, someone could craft something better, but I like the idea of having a quest or adventure, like in Jackie chan's armor of God. You get people fighting for riches, to investigate something possibly sinister in the background, and to prove their strength. It's note dire, but it's requiring some folks' attention. It could be a fun, broad way to have different motivations: -Makoto wants to use the money to repair her dojo and expand the reach of it -Chun Li wants to show off her new skills, but also senses something isn't right about the whole thing -Karin doesn't care about the money obviously, but wants to know about the artifact and where the tourny holder got it -Q knows exactly what the artifact is, doesn't trust anyone to share the info, but wants to track the thief, destroy the artifact and to thrash the tournament holder -An unknown part has hired Juri to sow chaos along the way and make sure that the tourny organizer does not get the artifact back -Rolento, who has founded his own small band of mercs, is looking to recruit. His victory would be a nice bit of propoganda and the artifact would look great in his command centre -Blanka, having since become a bit of a celebrity, is wanting to use the funds to help fight deforestation. You can canonize Mai Lin from the cartoon as a partner in this endeavour and kinda make him Michelle Chang of the series. The fighter who tries to help nature. I think it could be a cool direction for him instead of retreading the past. His mom is proud of him, he made Blanka-chan which, had issues, but started to take off, so why not move the needle forward? Just my rough thoughts. I wanna see different levels to SF stories; some crime, some philosophical about the nature of the fight, etc. We've put the pause on Bison and potentially may see the Illuminati tale dealt with and closed, so we can diversity things for a bit.
