You guys play Flipwitch? It's on the easy side but it's a decent game. I managed to finish it in 8 hours with a near 100%

I actually made an Ingrid concept a few years back that did that. I only did it because I have so much respect for @Miðgarðsormand he's a fan of Ingrid. If this man can translate lore from multiple languages for the story thread. I could put the time and effort into an Ingrid concept. Also he helped me with the Icelandic. He's to languages what @CESTUS IIIis to character creators. The best.

I'm not going to go far enough to say that he is...but definitely some things about what he's done in the past few years that feel grifty.  What's really going to be the determining factor is is Em-8er actually is anything or if it ever comes out because his handling of Firefall was apparently pretty sus.  He also ended up leaving Blizzard before the real bullshit came out about what was going on behind closed doors.  Most comments that I've found about Kern while he was at Blizzard haven't been pleasant (if i come across the posts again I'll put them up).

Apparently he was the main one that got Blizzard to do Wow Classic before leaving so...I guess that's a win?  I hadn't even really heard of the guy until the last couple of months when his posts started popping up in here and I decided to take a look into who this guy really was within the last week.  He just has just been on a losing streak since leaving Blizzard and now he's doing this spiritual successor to an MMO that failed and he was ousted from nearly 10 years ago and doing crowdfunding for it for 5 years after raising 1 million for a VR reality MMO for Oculus Rift...that never came out (read Project died).
 
To be fair in this though...Kern says he hasn't even really advertised his game which...I'm not even sure what to make of that.  Supposedly there's a demo...at some point?  This is the last thing he's posted in terms of content regarding the game

The utter lack of intelligence modern gamers display is astounding. If a "physical" copy of game can't be played without an initial internet connection, then it isn't a physical copy of the game. It just a digital copy that requires a disc check. Given the numerous issues that have occurred over the years, some very recently, if you can't see what the problem then you are just stupid. Show some modicum of deductive reasoning for God's sake.

@HecatomNot surprised. They are clearly doing this on purpose. People will still find some way to defend this nonsense. How can you honestly say they aren't purposely making female characters less attractive at this point? It's either willful ignorance or just being disingenuous.

Which is hilarious because Bayonetta until recently was attacked for being sexy.
 
The only reason she is ok now is because the usual retarded subsect of twitter decided she was a gay icon now, which is why they were at arms due her being canonically paired with Luca and having a daughter together.

That is not teally the fault of the devs but the lametastic gaming "press" that since day 1 of the announcement has been at war with the game due having a character that is not ugly.
 
They have been releasing info about the gameplay inspirations etc since very early, but the gaming press has been only focusing on Eve.

Stellar Blade doesn't really play up the sexy. The game is far more like Nier Automata in presentation than Bayonetta. Which is fitting because that was the main inspiration for the game in the first place. It's a game with an attractive lead that by in large "plays it straight". The most I've seen, from an in game standpoint, is the "Olympic Gymnastics" cameraman shots of Eve when she get's pulled out of her pod by Tachy. In fact most of the "sexy" in Stellar Blade is gamers playing with the camera like they did with 2B.
 
This is what makes the vitriolic reaction from the gaming press ridiculous. Especially from people that had a cow over Bayonetta that are pretending other wise. There are people on the internet that live to say "this you", so how they thought it wouldn't get called out is beyond me. The "professional" coverage of the game has centered on Eve's appearance. And I use the term professional loosely because it's anything but. "Professional" outlets shouldn't be launching basesless personal attacks on the developers like some low rent internet trolls. However, gaming press is low rent, so I suppose it's to be expected.
 
The only real reason Bayonetta's been brought up so much is members of the press saying Bayonetta is okay but Eve is not. Stellar Blade, in presentaton, and gameplay has little in common with Bayonetta. The fact that gaming media keeps making this connection is just another example of how worthless they are. The comparison could be excused prior to the demo being dropped, but there is a demo. You can play the game and see that the comparison is not a good one. Then again, expecting game journalists to play the games that they cover is big ask. 
 
Side note: Yes, I shit on the gaming media a lot in this post. They deserve every bit of it.

The gaming press can't handle a female character that's attractive. They've been losing their minds about Eve's character model recently. And are also pretending that they've always loved Bayonetta and that Eve is somehow worse than Bayonetta. Setting the receipts of them being full of shit aside. They are either being completely disingenuous or haven't played any Bayonetta games. It's probably a little of both.
